The hotel itself is well-maintained. It's well-located. The problem is that at breakfast time, they should have anticipated the influx of Argentine tourists and made more seating available. For several days, my 86-year-old mother and I were left with beanbag chairs because there were absolutely no tables available. Furthermore, the staff is inadequate for the number of tourists.
Another thing is that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant (even though the ACCOR website indicates otherwise) and doesn't have an alcohol license. I find it simply incredible.
When we got back from the plane, all we wanted was a drink. We went to the ”restaurant” and were told they didn't sell alcohol and the only food they had was some pre-made dishes (maybe they're from way back?), and they only heat them up.
5 stars. Big handicapped room. In room fridge was cold. Bed was firm. Shower water pressure on hot ******. Cold was awesome if you like a cold shower... Breakfast was excellent and varied daily. Free parking. Big elevators. Great AC. Hotel will give you daily pass to fitness club if you ask. Many restaurants in same complex. Hotel has two.
In general, no weak point, the food was very good in the restaurant, the friendliness of all the outstanding staff, the heated pool was very pleasant, the state-of-the-art gym invited you to continue practicing without getting tired... The wonderful breakfast, the rooms with a beautiful view, and completely acoustic... We will return to the Marriott in Puerto Montt, Chile. I would definitely recommend it.
Muy lindo hotel bien ubicado. Habitaciones silenciosas pero un poco calurosas para mi gusto. El restaurant tiene una buena carta a precios convenientes para ser hotel.
El desayuno deja un poco que desear
The hotel itself was lovely and very warm and comfy. The restaurant isn't in the same building, but not a drama, but for our supper we got charged nearly 100 thousand pesos, ny partners had eaten his food before I got my steak, out potatoes and chips were cold, and by time my steak finally arrived my chips were totally cold. Breakfast was fine and plentiful.

Clean and hygienic, the waiters are very good, the breakfast is delicious, and the restaurant is also good. The heated swimming pool is not afraid of cold weather. Walk to the town in a few minutes. The surrounding landscape is very beautiful. It's worth coming again.
The location, service and hygiene of the hotel are all in line with expectations, especially the breakfast, which can be given full marks. Ctrip's service is also very good and satisfactory. The fruit for breakfast is fresh and sweet, with rich varieties and good quality. It is worth recommending

Very Good
Fantastic location for our shopping trip, as the hotel is just above the largest shopping mall, and really close to the city centre, good for restaurants and so on. We parked the car on arrival and didn't need to use it until we left. We had a spacious room on the 6th floor, with a big balcony and sea view, two great king-sized beds and a giant TV. There was a large desk, and a relaxing area with a comfy armchair and coffee table. This would have needed a lamp for reading or having a drink. The bathroom looked slightly jaded but was fine. Instead of a proper wardrobe, there was an open clothes-hanging rail area opposite the washbasin part of the bathroom, something I've never understood. I dislike not having a proper wardrobe with doors. Fortunately there are some large drawers in the TV table, which helped keep our things tidy. Breakfast was good, except for the juices. The breakfast room is on the top floor, along with reception, a slightly unusual arrangement but which has a lovely view of the sea. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a spectacularly wonderful location, overlooking the lake. The only drawbacks for us were the beds (which were single beds), and the restaurant.
The buffet breakfast was fine, but that's where it came to a grinding halt was., unfortunately. Items on the menus were not available, and the quality of the food
was below par.
It's a shame because a hotel with wonderful views like that should have a good chef and a bustling restaurant. I don't know, but I don't think it got any external guests while we were there and if so, that would be the reason. I hasten to add that we did not eat any of the Chilean dishes on the menu, just the standard Western fare of pizzas or toasted sandwiches.
But the staff were wonderful - particularly Martin in the restaurant. Very friendly and helpful.
An excellent place to spend time in Puerto Varas. Clean and comfortable, with amazing views into the lake and volcanoes. Its location allows to use public transportation to move along the lake and city's downtown, allowing a good connection to many different touristic points and different towns along the lake (namely Ensenada, Petrohué, Frutillar, Puerto Montt, among others).
The hotel has a long history, but it is well maintained. The wooden Gothic style is a pleasant surprise. In addition, hotel guests get a 20% discount at the restaurant, which is of good quality and the dishes are satisfying.

Very good hotel, spacious rooms and comfortable beds, there is a very interesting indoor heated swimming pool... internal restaurant with good prices, cleanliness ok
The staff were cordial and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. However, our dinners were not worth the money spent. They need to get a new chef, especially when it comes to European food.
