Tthe solo traveler 3a great choice to stay a night if you have an early morning flight the next day. i was there in february, so it was nice and quiet. everything was clean. you can connect your youtube acct with the tv but be sure to log out. the tv seemed pretty new and there was a backlight that glowed with the same hue of what you’re watching. the front clerk was nice and very helpful.
MM231794****I booked this hotel because it's convenient for catching flights; the front desk can help me book a taxi to the airport. However, I booked a bed in a dormitory, which means I have to get up at 4 AM to catch my flight, but my roommates will be arriving around midnight. If you mind that, it's better to book a private room.
GGuest UserExtremely satisfied, especially the terrace hot spring water which was very warm, and you could even see the aurora borealis while looking up. A very cost-effective stay, thumbs up to the hotel, absolutely wonderful!
2288020****The address is a bit difficult to find, because the door is too small, almost thinking that I went wrong, it may also be the reason for the night.
The sink is right at the bedside, not good. The room is also very narrow.
A party next door in the middle of the night, did not sleep all night. No one guards, self-help, and dare not remind others.
At night, I said that I sent an email to repair the pipe and there was no hot water. I didn't tell at 6 pm, it was too late. Said to repair for 3 hours, but there was no hot water until I checked out.
The only advantage is that it is close to the airport and 7 minutes drive.
CChew LemonThis was the last hotel of my Iceland trip. The hotel is very close to the airport, making it a convenient choice before an early flight.
The room was clean, although a little small. Overall, it was good value for the price I paid. After checking in, I visited the Blue Lagoon, which was only a short drive away.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to my friends.
GGuest UserFriends, please steer clear of this place! As a Courtyard by Marriott, an international chain under Marriott, they have issues with unauthorized and duplicate charges.
My prepaid booking already included the city tax, yet they insisted I pay it again upon arrival, which means I was double-charged. I only discovered this when I asked Trip.com to investigate other deductions after I returned home.
This hotel also charged me in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. I found out when I reviewed my credit card statement after getting back. When Trip.com followed up, the hotel claimed I used paid Wi-Fi. That's ridiculous! I used the free in-room Wi-Fi, which is explicitly stated on Marriott's official website and as a member-exclusive service. I have no idea what 'paid Wi-Fi' they're referring to. Furthermore, after I checked out, this additional charge was never presented to me at the front desk nor sent via email; they just quietly deducted the money. It's outrageous. When I checked in, I asked if my Marriott Bonvoy number could be linked, and they confirmed it could. However, when Trip.com showed me the bill, it clearly showed that my account wasn't linked. It's an absolute mess.
The room facilities and cleanliness were decent. But the service? It's so bad, it warrants a formal complaint.
GGuest UserLocation near the airport. We have a comfortable and restful stay in the cottage. The environment is so fresh, clean and quiet. There is Lupine just outside the room, a super nice view. We have a shared toilet with others, but the bathroom is so clean and spacious enough with a hair dryer, heater, shower gel and shampoo. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserA lovely hotel, conveniently situated near keflavik airport..Stunning Deco, rooms were immaculate, and the spar facilities are second to none..We never used it as there was an extra cost.. Shame there was no view of the harbour. However, the sky from our room was spectacular..
Glitch on the system would not let me attach photos.
