Excellent location! Could not beat it. So close to the train station and tram stops on either side of the street. Excellent room, all you need! Only down sides were the bed was too soft, both of us had sore backs each morning. The doona did not have a doona cover only a flat sheet on either side and there was no proper handle for inside the bathroom which was annoying.
Although we were driving on local trails at night, the road surface was fine. Pay attention to the roadside prompts. There were many wild kangaroos wandering in groups on the road, so drive slowly. Beware of kangaroos standing in the road and staring at the car. The campground was very satisfied, although the flight was delayed and arrived at midnight. But the administrator took care of all the procedures and thoughtfully packaged the bathing token. Although the room was an RV, it was hygienic and clean. The towels were very comfortable. The next day I was woken up by the noise of a parrot. This is a real sanctuary with flocks of parrots and other birds. Unfortunately, there were strong winds and heavy rain, so we didn’t see the koala. Would go again. In the freezing rain, thank you! An elderly tourist took me to the administrator's residence. I will remember his appearance and enthusiasm throughout my life.
Attended the waterfront festival fireworks. Love the location and halal kebabs in the area . For hotel room love the little kitchenette , there’s smart tv but no internet to watch programmes . There’s only one tv channel. Sadly The shower head is broken the housekeeper should have known it and inform the maintenance to fix it before rent it out . Overall great hotel with great security for both front entrance and locked underground carpark.
Check-in is on the 7th floor. I got a room upgrade and was able to check in early. The Southbank area is very quiet, and since Melbourne city center isn't too big, it's pretty convenient to get everywhere; it's not out of the way at all. The pool is quite small though.
Breakfast was okay, but there were no Chinese options. You can see hot air balloons in the morning though, which is cool!

The hotel is excellent, and I really love its aesthetic. The coffee is good too, and the location is very convenient, just 1-2 kilometers from the city center. Parking is quite expensive though, at 75 AUD per day.
We had booked a room with a queen bed, the room we were given had a double. While at a birthday party I received a call and was offered to option to change rooms which I declined as I had no idea when we were getting back which ended up being late.
The heater did not work, the shower leaked water all over the floor and the cabin smelt like it had been locked up for months, a pretty disappointing stay
Stayed in motel style accommodation. The bed was comfortable and room is spacious.
The shower room is, quite outdated and they use shower curtain. Looked a bit like locker room shower. They provide body soap /shampoo all in one that attached to a wall.
There is not much amenities other than coffee sachets and tea bags and milk in the fridge.
Air-conditioning is strong but loud. Luckily I didn't need to leave it on at night.
There is no power point next to TV which was a bit annoying.
The location is great as it is only 20 mins walk to the town center.

My room was too small that could not place two 25’’ inches suitcase but this room published that can accommodate three persons. Also , the windows are obstructed by their outer facade (like grill gate of prison) which stated that have windows. The design of shower room was too transparent and the floor materials were slippery and shower water come out . The pod coffee machine is not suitable use in such small room.If this causes to have $200 deposit , I wonder it was being a trap to held up my deposit money.
We booked two persons morning buffet but overcharged. Both catering and reception staff required more professional training to cater customer’s need .
We did not have option to pay cash for breakfast food but we were forced to pay ‘merchant service fee’ by paying card. Not fair to visitors! Further, we emailed to hotels twice for late check in midnight but still need to wait outside the main entrance of hotels.
Not valued for money and out of our expectations. Need improvement and enhanced communication between departments.
Very friendly and accommodating staff can’t fault them…I was very happy to be able to have my dog with me, but it is incredibly frustrating and outdated for Australia to treat them as unhealthy to be around food areas…most indoor pets are cleaner than humans and if they’re not used to being left alone tied up outside, then it’s uncomfortable for their owners to be made to wait outside for food!

GGuest UserStayed overnight, ok, van looked old , reasonably clean. We were driving through so not fussed about location. Enjoyed watching the birds flying around.
CCarla H.Super much space, dining room, kitchen integrated with all the trimmings, separate toilet for shower, two rooms to sleep. The highway is not heard. Although designed as a holiday park everything is quiet.
GGuest UserComplete facilities, quiet environment, very comfortable living, breakfast, chocolate and orange juice. I can reach the ski resort early the next morning, and the Google navigation address is correct.
