DDamarisThe photos online were misleading. Check-in was on the 3rd floor, not the 8th as stated. Luckily, I had an HK SIM to contact the property. Staff were friendly, but the room was extremely small with a strong chemical smell due to recent spraying without ventilation.
There was no shower gel or shampoo provided, and one of the restroom doors was missing.
The location is great, but overall, it's not a pleasant experience.
MM492872****Finding a room with such great value for money in Hong Kong is truly a good find! The room isn't too small either, and it's close to all the places I wanted to visit. The MTR station is right downstairs, which is super convenient. The staff are very welcoming, and the owner is especially nice. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong.
Yyatou18A heartfelt thank you to Concierge Jeff and Butler Mike for making our stay so warm and welcoming. Their service truly added comfort to our trip.
Upon arrival, Jeff immediately came to assist with our luggage, guiding us to our room with thoughtful attention. He also provided detailed information on the airport bus stops and schedules and recommended a unique, picturesque spot for Victoria Harbour photos. His enthusiasm and thoroughness were truly appreciated.
Butler Mike struck the perfect balance; he was never intrusive but always incredibly responsive and efficient. Whether we needed extra amenities, had a last-minute request, or sought recommendations for local eateries, his replies were swift, and everything was handled reliably and professionally.
From the warm welcome by the concierge at the entrance to the constant support from the butler throughout our stay, their meticulous and thoughtful service provided a sense of security and belonging while traveling away from home.
Mmiller_etienneI had a lovely one‑night stay at Stanley Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong and would definitely recommend it for a relaxed, dog‑friendly getaway. The location by the waterfront is peaceful and close to shops, restaurants, and beautiful walks, making it perfect for both people and pets.
The room was clean, comfortable and well‑laid out, with enough space for our dog to feel at ease. The staff were friendly and very accommodating about us bringing our dog, which made the whole stay feel more welcoming and stress‑free.
There was no breakfast at the hotel, but that was completely fine since there are plenty of cafés and eateries nearby where we enjoyed a nice morning meal. Overall, it was a great value, comfortable stay with the added bonus of being able to travel with our furry companion.
LLiaohezuoanIt is very convenient to travel in Chungking Mansions. It is a ten-minute walk from the Avenue of Stars and Harbor City. The boss is very nice. When I arrived, it was very inconvenient because my phone ran out of battery before the check-in time. The boss saw that I was embarrassed and asked me to go ahead in advance. Checked in, thank you very much boss
GGuest UserThe staff were helpful and friendly, and got me checked-in smoothly. You get an entire floor to yourself, and will have an amazing view of the Happy Valley area both in the day and at night. Amenities within the room are great as well and properly maintained.
AAnonymous UserThe bed was super comfortable with just the right amount of support, allowing for a truly relaxing rest. The hot water was consistently hot and steady, so no sudden temperature changes during showers. The entire place was kept very clean and tidy, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the public spaces and small details. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped, with a full range of pots, pans, utensils, and basic appliances, making it super convenient if you want to cook a simple meal. What really stood out was how quickly the staff responded to messages and questions; they were always there to help right away with any issues. Overall, it was a very comfortable and reassuring stay.
