GGuest UserXining is a fantastic, vibrant city, and my biggest regret is not staying longer; it deserves way more time than just a quick transit stop thanks to its incredible food scene, night markets, and laid-back vibe. During my visit, I stayed at LETE Hostel, which serves as a solid, character-rich base for exploring the region. The top-floor communal space has real history and soul, beautifully flooded with sunlight, packed with green plants, a massive library, and even three cute resident birds. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly kind-hearted and welcoming, always doing their best to help out. Location-wise, it’s perfect - super convenient for the night markets, local food stalls, and bus stops, plus they offer safe bike storage for cyclists. For the price of a private room, the value and hospitality here are unbeatable, and I would absolutely stay again - and next time, I’ll be giving Xining the full week it deserves.

I chose the Dome Starry Sky room, and at night, I could just lie in bed and gaze up at the Milky Way. The starry sky over the Gobi Desert is truly breathtaking. In the evening, there was a lively bonfire party where everyone gathered around to sing and dance – the atmosphere was fantastic! We also enjoyed a spectacular fireworks display, which really elevated the experience.
The butler service was attentive and thoughtful; they responded quickly to any requests, making the entire stay hassle-free. The hotel is right next to the Yardang landforms, offering unparalleled views of the Gobi wilderness. The facilities are excellent for a desert camp. I highly recommend including this experience on your Qinghai-Gansu loop tour; it’s an unforgettable Gobi camping adventure!

GGuest UserMy stay at this Solo Starry Camp exceeded my expectations, and I have to give a huge shout-out to my dedicated butler! Before my arrival, the butler proactively contacted me, thoughtfully sending check-in tips including the room's Wi-Fi password, meal times and locations for all three meals, and even sent the restaurant menu in advance for our reference. What's more, they meticulously organized a travel guide for Water Yadan, truly considering every aspect.
During my stay, no matter what questions I had, the butler always responded promptly and patiently. Their quick responses throughout made all the difference, and their attention to detail was incredibly heartwarming. Being in the vast and desolate Gobi, I was initially worried about various inconveniences on the journey. However, thanks to the butler's meticulous and thoughtful service, all my concerns melted away, making us feel completely at ease in the wilderness.
The camp's scenery is absolutely stunning, and the views of Water Yadan are breathtaking. At night, you can even see a sky full of brilliant stars. But what impressed me most was the butler's genuine attentiveness – it wasn't just a procedural reception, but rather a focus on understanding and anticipating the guests' needs from their perspective. This was a truly healing and unforgettable journey through the Northwest wilderness. I highly recommend it! Next time I return to this Gobi, I'll definitely look for this same butler, eagerly anticipating another trip under the starry sky 🌌

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very convenient downtown location, and the front desk staff are excellent! Plus, there's free parking and a good breakfast. The only downside is that with several hotels sharing the same elevators, there's often a long wait. Overall, I'm very satisfied!

GGuest UserThe hotel is strategically located, and several surrounding attractions are relatively close. The same hotel is cheaper than the surrounding area, and the price is really conscience. The boss has a very good service attitude and personally leads the way to help parking. The hotel has someone to help with luggage, the service attitude is superb, clean and tidy, and the bedding is white and clean. There are also disposable towels and disposable toilet pads. There is no smell in the room. It is quieter near the community at night. The boss also equipped the room with an electric fan. Must be all five-star praise 👍👍👍

GGuest UserThe location is super close to Chaka Salt Lake. The young lady was very welcoming; I asked her to show us the rooms first, and she patiently guided us. I saw the rooms were really nice and clean, so we decided to stay.
The price was excellent, and I was so happy with the environment – clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was also very good, and every staff member was enthusiastic. They refilled the breakfast promptly; it was delicious and very convenient. If you're visiting Chaka Salt Lake, definitely stay here – the price is just right. It was also a very comfortable stay, and the food was good too.
I didn't take any photos of the hotel, but the environment is exactly as they advertised.

Gghl.Enjoyed my stay at this hostel because of its vibes. Some people are just more suited as hosts than others, and the young boss of this hostel is certainly one such. Helpful, respectful, and with a sense of humour. The last picture is of the boss with us three guests - a Chinese, a Singaporean and a Japanese guest. The sitting room is a great gathering place - every evening guests gather there to chill and chat.

GGuest UserI couldn't be happier with my choice of Chaka Jundao Hotel for this trip to Chaka Salt Lake! The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to the salt lake scenic area, making travel very convenient. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and you can even visit the lively night market in the evening. The room was cozy, the bed was large and soft, and I slept soundly. The room was also spotlessly clean, and the basic amenities were complete.
