The Laocheng'en Courtyard Homestay is located within Datong Ancient City and is accessible by car. Parking is easy to find within the alleyways, especially during the off-season. The homestay features a cozy courtyard and living room, and the rooms are tidy. We booked a twin room, which wasn't huge, but the bathroom was very spacious. The main draw for us was the excellent wet/dry separation in the bathroom. There's no elevator, though. The breakfast was well-prepared and satisfying. The staff were all very friendly; on our first day, they even provided tricycles for a spin around the ancient city! Overall, it was a great stay.

The stay was amazing!! The service impecable, location superb and lovely room! The Inn is located on a very central road close to the gate to the ancient city. Even though its very central, the rooms are in a back garden so its very peacefull and quiet. The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable! They even have a small terrace with view of the skyline! But the best part was the service! The person working at the teception supported us with anything we asked, it felt like a piece of authentic chinese hospitality! I can only recommend this beautiful Inn to anyone visiting Pingyao!

This hotel is almost next to the airport terminal, super convenient for early morning flight. It is clean and service is excellent. Manager on duty - Han, Yueliu helped arrange a room in the main buidling, which is what I preferred. Everything went well. Will stay here again next time when I come back.

We booked at Fengqi jiuting hotel on a family trip to Taiyuan and it exceeded all our expectations. The location is super convenient, on the edge of the bustling Zhong Lou Jie area, with so many food and dining options accessible on foot. The rooms are spacious, with heated floors (a godsend in winter), and nice amenities. It’s a beautiful hotel decked out with contemporary art and was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made our trip that much easier. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, with very nice details. They also left us some sweets and tea as a welcome gift, and every day they gave us a large bottle of water. The only thing I didn’t like is that during the day people come to take photos at the property, and there is quite a lot of noise until almost 10pm. Sometimes it can be annoying to hear people taking photos right outside your room. Apart from that, the accommodation is great.

When coming to Pingyao I will recommend to stay inside the old town The location of this hotel is very central to explore all the attractions. Going through the narrow alley to reach the hotel, you don't exoect to discover such and amazing and authentic stay, a beautifully restored building with modern ooms and amenities. The staff can not help enough, so helpful with everything, great recommendations for sightseeing and eating. Complimentary breakfast delivered to our room and railway station pick up and drop off. Mineral water and fruit basket during our stay and a departure gift. Overall experience was fantastic. We'll definitely recommend this hotel and stay there without hesitation again. Private soup atmosphere hot spring: It feels very good, the romantic rose atmosphere is up at once, and the fruit snacks are also very fresh and delicious. Service: Every time you enter the door, you will greet you warmly. If you have any questions, you will recommend delicious restaurants and restaurants (there will be discounts 😋). The front desk lady helps to carry the box throughout the whole process, and the proprietress is very enthusiastic outside the door. When chatting with the proprietress, it was mentioned that the room area was a bit small and not as big as another hotel. I was very enthusiastic to change to a family room. In fact, this big bed room is not small. The hot spring outside facing a small fish pond is very beautiful. Environment: The lobby is very warm, the kitten is really beautiful on the sixth day! The happiness of the cat is super cool~ It is that Liuliu just lost his wife and it is very melancholy.😔 I have been looking at the door.... But when I see the cat strip, everything is left behind. There is an observation deck on the roof that can be seen far away. It is a good choice to go up and take pictures. The yard has been carefully designed and beautiful everywhere. Every place you can sit there is a blanket that doesn't ice your ass. Facilities: The bathroom has a little smell. I don’t know if it’s the smell of aromatherapy. There are handrails next to the hot spring pool to prevent slipping. [Yunxuan Courtesy] Ancient style national style costume experience: The quality of the costume is good and you can wear it for 3 hours. The makeup and photography in the store need to be paid separately (the hotel can reduce the money in the past), but there is no cold face because I didn’t buy anything else, and the attitude has been very good.

During our trip in China this was the most memorable Hotel. The hotel was really nice in the ancient city near the Prince residence and City Walls. The building has a traditional patio inside (covered) with a pool with fishes. The room was big, the bed very comfortable, nice bathroom, the room got all we needed for the stay (fridge, tea set etc...). Everyting vas very clean and tidy. The owner is really nice and caring, she came to pick us up at the station even if was late in the evening ad took us back at the check out. She helped us with our visit and suggested really good restaurants. The breakfast is in the nice patio, it is very good and traditional. I really hope I can visit again, I will surely suggest the hotel to my friends or anyone visiting Datong. Thank You!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Pingyao. The location, right inside the old city walls, was perfect for exploring the ancient town on foot and it was very quiet in the evening, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and nicely heated, which was especially important given the cold temperatures outside. A special mention goes to the owner and his wife for the excellent pick-up service from the train station, which made my arrival smooth and stress-free.

On my way back to Beijing from a self-driving tour, I stayed in Xinzhou. I searched and searched on Ctrip, as I go every year, so I've gained experience. I'm an environmental designer, so I'm very concerned with visuals. I chose a brand name or something beautiful. After more than 20 days, I was exhausted and wanted to choose a hot spring hotel. I started looking at pictures of each one on Ctrip and finally chose the Futian Huayu Hot Spring Hotel. It was such a great value and amazing! The service was great! The hot springs were amazing and clean! This hotel is truly built with nostalgia in mind! I've decided to make a special trip to stay for three days next time and explore the old city!
