Pet friendly Hotels in Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France

My wife and I stayed for one week at Hotel Byakko. It is conveniently placed for public transport and in good walking distance of the shops and Old Town. The staff are all very friendly, polite and efficient and the amenities and breakfast good. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the shower good too. If anything, the hotel undersells itself, by not mentioning some of its amenities, including free afternoon tea, a safe in the room, shower soap etc in the bathroom and so on. We would highly recommend Hotel Byakko and would certainly stay there again if we are back in NIce. Thank you to all the hotel's staff for an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is in a great location overlooking the yacht harbour. The sea view rooms are lovely. The hotel serves breakfast and has a bar available in the evenings. The old town is within easy reach with many great restaurants. The staff are very helpful and will arrange a taxi if needed.

Perfect airport hotel, with a 24/7 desk manned by friendly staff, operating the club model (8th-floor spacious lounge with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, and a bar). The rooms are small but efficiently laid-out and from the hotel is (literally) a 5-minute walk to terminal 1. If you are flying from terminal 2 (15-minute walk) you can also grab the tramway (free to and from the airport), which has a stop just around the corner. The hotel is also five minutes walking distance from the Nice St. Augustin train station, which makes it convenient to travel to (e.g) Nice centre, Monaco or the Villefranche beach. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for longer stays, given the room size, unless you’re the outdoorsy type.

The location is very convenient, right in the middle of the seaside and the train. There are Monoprix supermarkets and shopping malls out, and it is super convenient to eat and shop. The service is also good, the room is a bit old, the toilet is too small and too small.

Pros: Basic hotel with nice staff. Negatives: 1. Pillow cases don’t fit, leaving yellowed & completely uncovered pillows open to touch your skin/face while sleeping lounging. 2. Non functioning AC in the rooms. Speaking with staff and asking them to visit the room, I was informed this is the normal functionality of the AC- which leaves the room the same stifling, humid temperature as the corridor- even hotter than outside in the summer heat (at night 20C outside, 29C in the room). Staff helped me open the room window fully to help let in air but with window facing a closed wall with other room windows this is no solution. I considered propping open the corridor door to allow some air flow and allow at least some relief- however clearly this isn’t a safe option…. Loud homeless people & groups of kids in the streets below intensify the annoyance of laying in bed, uncomfortable, sweating, unable to sleep with the heat & noise- don’t even think about being able to pull the duvet over yourself. Overall 1/10 comfort. If the above described experience feels like a 4-star hotel experience to you, then this is the place for you. Overview: Deeply, deeply unhappy with my stay and would not ever risk return. Cannes has loads of far better hotels at the same or even significantly less price point. (I’ve lived and worked in Italy and the south of France for 12 years, visiting Cannes at minimum three times a year during this period). There were other available options I know from previous trips that are very convenient and comfortable- for 50€ less a night… However some friends living here mentioned this hotel and I thought to try something new… extremely dissatisfied with the outcome.

Having seen some of the negative reviews I was a little nervous about coming here. I was very relieved. The pools were nice, big and clean, with a great slide. The apartment was clean, shower needs the joints redone. Air conditioning worked well. The price is correct for the space, the location, the pools etc... if you want better, you need yo pay more. Reception team excellent.

In addition to the advance payment they claimed EUR 40 ( then reduced to 30) as a guarantee for any consumption from the fridge bar. Only after they left the credit card (we had not taken anything) they recredited them, and the room was sad and quite cold, and it was impossible to act on a device that was slipped up the temperature. The only positive point is parking, of course, at payment, and we will not return.

Hotel location near Toulon train station, About 3 minutes walk, Near Grand Plaza and bus stop, Convenient transportation! 24-hour self-service bar available in the hotel's Friendship Room. All kinds of coffee! All kinds of juices, teas, fresh fruit, and delicious snacks, It's free to use! Although the room space is not large, But simple and design! Very recommended!

One of the worst hotels I have dealt with. Reservation that was a non cancelable was accidently cancelled. Called hotel within minutes of the cancellation and asked them to reinstate the cancelled reservation. They wanted me to pay again for the two nights in order for it to be reinstated and stated that they can't reinstate cancelled reservation. Horrible CUSTOMER SERIVE AND HORRIBLE INCONSIDERABLE MANAGMENT !!! Booked it through *********** and they were not able to assist with the situation either. This is what is stated on the website, however I was not given this opportunity. Can I cancel or change my dates for a non-refundable booking? Canceling a Non-Refundable booking usually incurs a charge. However, you might have the option to request free cancellation when managing your booking. This sends a request to the property, who may decide to waive your cancellation fee. It's not possible to change dates for a Non-Refundable booking, though it's possible to re-book for your desired dates if your waive fees request is successful.

Personale gentile e disponibile, ci hanno subito fornito indicazioni su come raggiungere i vari punti e come utilizzare gli ascensori pubblici, considerando le salite e discese di Monavo, utilissimi. Molto pulito, colazione ottima e varia dal salato al dolce. Ci hanno permesso anche di lasciare a deposito i bagagli la mattina dopo il check-in. Se dovessi ritornare a Monaco, sicuramente tornerei ad alloggiare qui

Brilliantly situated modern spacious en clean apartment at the portside . Great view!! The staff is extremely helpful. We where extremely pleased with this apartment and have no doubt we will return in the future..

Very good hotel, location on the main commercial street, convenient transportation

The front desk service is very good, especially the young man is very patient. There is also a snack at the front desk. The chocolate taste is praiseworthy, but the room is old. The carpet does have a little taste. The facilities are simple, but the bathroom is very new. The space is large and the heated towel rack is very convenient for drying bath towels. The location of the store is also good. The quiet street is more convenient to the old city seaside commercial street and not too noisy.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. When we arrived, we were told they were overbooking and they stayed in a two-bedroom apartment near the hotel. PRO: - very low price - comfortable location in the centre (5 minutes walk) - courteous and available staff - car parking included in the price (availability to park the car before and after check-in) AMENDMENT: - the apartment where we were set was on the second floor without a palace lift that it would need important restructuring works, such as the apartment, dedicated to the beautiful and better to be rented, economic and recovery furniture, summary restructuring ... - cleaning the apartment was insufficient, Balcony and chair on the balcony full of birds, much powder in the house and little care. - Bed and couchs uncomfortable - Wi-Fi not working - lack of hairdryer - only 1 taken near the double bed. - they have not re-established the room from one day to another - the bedroom lamp is not working - bathroom without tent and without hook for douche (very uncomfortable and flooded bathroom) I generally give an evaluation just enough, But certainly, one of the most critical points has not left us a good memory.

I love this hotel - and have been coming here year on year! It is exactly what I want from a small family hotel - modern clean rooms. Great friendly welcome and excellent value for money. The rooms are small but efficient with a great walk in shower. The location at the heart of Cannes is amazing. When you spend most of your time on the beach or exploring this is all I need to relax and recover before a night under the stars of Cannes. I will definitively keep coming back!
