Overall a decent experience

The room size was average, but the location was great, right in the Financial District, about 200 meters from the Charging Bull and Wall Street. Breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but it was clean, and the sausages were tasty, though I wouldn't want them every day. Early check-in required a $150 deposit. The elevators were a bit small and you had to wait, but that's normal for a building with so many floors. The other guests were nice, mostly tourists, and everyone said 'good morning' when you saw them.

Room was small, did not provide water bottles had to go down to the concierge to refill or buy from whole foods-7-11. Our Tv broke down half way but luckily the hotel managed to fix it within a few hours.
To boil hot water had to go down to the concierge to do so. No amenities were provided. It is just a place to sleep.
For the price was not worth it. I accidentally booked 8 nights which the hotel refused to cancel without giving a reason why. Bear in mind after booking I immediately contacted the hotel to mention this typo but they refused to correct it. Luckily trip.com managed to come through to reimburse me a little for the losses.
Overall will not stay again. There are better hotels for the same prices. Only selling point was location was good.

This hotel is conveniently located near Times Square and 5th Avenue, just a 5-minute walk from the subway. There's a Target supermarket right across the street, making it super easy to get around. The lobby is on the 21st floor, and check-in is available after 4 PM. We were able to store our luggage for free on the day we arrived. Our room on the 32nd floor was a corner room with windows on two sides, offering great views. It was clean, spacious, and bright, and there was even a Chinese-speaking receptionist, which was a thoughtful touch. The ground floor entrance is a bit small and has a pillar in the middle, but once you're inside, it's quite spacious. My only complaint is that housekeeping only made the bed and emptied the trash; they didn't clean the hair on the floor or restock the tissues and toilet paper. I hope they can improve on that.
The price was quite a good deal for New York, especially with a discount. The facilities and decor are up to Hilton's standards, but!! It was incredibly, unbelievably crowded. Expect to wait about an hour just to park, with only one staff member working. Checking in at the front desk, buying coffee, and even storing luggage all involved long queues. It seems like a lot of airline crew stay here too, so definitely factor in extra time for everything. There are tons of hidden fees. The deposit was given as a voucher, luggage storage cost extra, and even the in-room mini-bar items were charged. Given the location and the total price of $150, I guess I'll just put up with it.
Check-in was simple with friendly front desk workers who offered us bottled water from a refrigerator in the lobby. The room was very clean and well-equipped with tea, coffee, a refrigerator and microwave. I especially liked the fact that the floor was not carpeted but wood laminate, which is much easier to clean. The pool looked brand new and was open late. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk and protein bars with bags to pack for takeaway or to eat there. The location was perfect to visit The Corning Museum of Glass, which was under 10 minutes away.

I had a wonderful stay at the Motto by Hilton NYC Times Square. I ended up booking this at the very last minute, and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful during the check-in process—they really made a stressful situation much easier.
Cleanliness: The hotel and the room were spotless. It felt very modern and well-maintained.
Location: You can’t beat being right in Times Square. It was the perfect base for exploring the city.
The Team: As mentioned, the staff were lovely and professional.
Room Size: Be aware that the rooms are quite small. While they are efficiently designed, it’s a tight squeeze if you have a lot of luggage.
Value: For the price paid per night, I was a little disappointed that breakfast wasn't included. It would have been a nice touch to add some extra value to the stay.
Overall, it’s a fantastic choice if you prioritize location and service. I would definitely stay here again!
I think the main advantage of this accommodation is that it is reasonably priced for the location. The space behind the first-floor lobby is also quite charming. The bed was comfortable, and the internet worked well overall, although the connection for the Wi-Fi and TV occasionally cut out. There was no refrigerator, but ice was easy to access, so this was not a major issue for a short stay.
That said, there were also some downsides. First, the front desk staff were generally not very friendly and seemed defensive when responding to guest requests. I understand that they may have been tired due to the heavy snowstorm in New York at the time, but I still felt uncomfortable with the way my request was dismissed without much consideration, even though I was willing to pay extra if needed.
Second, the room was very cold. I was told this may have been because it was a corner room. After I requested additional heating, the situation improved.
Third, the bathtub would only fill halfway. It seemed to be an issue with the stopper, and although I was able to fix it myself, it was still inconvenient.
Although the location is a point that will change according to need, it was a good location for us. There is a nice and quality restaurant nearby. The rooms are clean and meet the requirements. Having a 24-hour Starbucks inside is a big plus.

The hotel was generally very clean. The location, I suppose like everywhere else in Manhattan, was constantly noisy with car horns and the unsettling sounds of police and ambulance sirens. The hotel staff were certainly friendly, but that's not quite the same as being efficient. The front desk area was unusually small. Perhaps it was due to the peak season, but there was a continuous overflow of people checking in and out, and no one was managing the queue. As a result, some less attentive individuals had to wait forever for their turn, which made me think, 'Only in America.' The power outlet in my room was faulty, and my phone didn't charge overnight. I only realized it when my phone was about to die while I was out the next day, which caused a panic. When I returned and informed the hotel, they replaced it immediately. However, it seemed like they were only replacing them as complaints came in, which made me wonder about their maintenance policy. Also, perhaps it's standard practice everywhere in NYC, but storing luggage after check-out cost $5 per bag.

SShane CanadianI was fine with the hotel but it is not for everyone.
The hotel is a bit dated. The room is quite simple but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and there was a good selection of tv channels. However, there is some deep cleaning required as the heater intake was VERY dusty (see image). The shower had lots of hot water and good water pressure. The towels were fine for me, but they are quite thin and small. When checking in, I noticed shampoo packets were available at the front desk, but only hand soap packets were provided in the room. Water was not provided in the room nor was there a water dispenser to fill a water bottle. The hotel may want to consider providing a water dispenser in the lobby. The hotel description gives the impression that parking is not available though there was ample parking. It is near a highly developed area with lots of restaurants nearby. However, it is in a bit of a secluded area so it is best suited for travelers with a car. I was a bit disappointed that my room was not available at 430pm (check-in is at 3pm) but the hotel was short staffed that day. The staff I interacted with were polite and tried their best to be helpful.
The main concern people may have is safety. The hotel is at the end of a quiet street and it is brightly lit outside of the hotel. However, many of the rooms open outdoors and there was no security staff visible at the hotel. It is certainly a budget hotel and many of the clients had a rough appearance. I was fine but some may not be comfortable, especially single female travelers.
I would consider booking again but only for a quick and inexpensive stay.
潘潘The hotel is very stylish and stylish, the bathroom is well designed for wet and dry separation, and the room size is large. It is 500 meters from the shopping center and the window can be seen. The location of the hotel is right next to the high speed and it is very convenient to drive.
MMillietWe had a wonderful stay at Hotel 50! Conveniently located in Chinatown, it’s perfect for enjoying affordable and delicious Chinese food. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind, and the check-in process was seamless. Our corner room on the 6th floor was spacious, clean, and comfortable with stunning views. The rooftop was nice, though smaller than it looked in photos. We’d definitely return and highly recommend this hotel!
GGuest UserMy son and I had the most incredible experience! I would recommend the William Vale to all my friends and family. The balcony views at sunset in the summer are absolutely stunning. The hotel itself offers many thoughtful amenities including a welcome message with your name on the television upon arrival. I honestly only have one small complaint and that was the cleaning service. We called about having the room cleaned and actually spoke with the individual who said she would come back at the time we requested but she never returned. Other than that one little hiccup everything went smoothly from the time we pulled up to valet to unload our luggage. There is NO better hotel to stay in Williamsburg aside from the William Vale.
GGuest UserStaff: Most staff are really helpful and lovely.Only the person on checkout was rude and unhelpful.
Room: we changed to a lovely rooms thanks to the help of one particular lovely professional staff at front counter> Our original room was at the back, dark and view on a wall through a small window.OK for one night, not for 5 nights!
Hotel: Only one lift worked (and it had been out for a long time we heard) and there are at least 20 rooms per floor. Plus the cleaning staff use the same lift. Not good for a Hilton brand. No complimentary bottle of water in the room, they charge $3 per bottle. There is water in the foyer though at certain times during the day/evening.
BBENGWe check-in very late around 4:00am due to our late flight and 1 missing piece of luggage. Got our room promptly, but the bath tub was choke and dirty. Tried to change our room, but was told that there was no other available room, but they sent someone to fix it in the morning.
The hotel is pretty basic, more for people with own transport.
Location wise, there is not much around the area, but we found Denny's within walking distance. There are a couple of other eating places as well, though we didn't try them.
GGuest UserThis hotel is amazing! The rooms are very spacious. Everything is super clean and the highlight is the location. I usually don’t write reviews but this time I have to because I’m so glad I stayed at this hotel. I could easily walk everywhere but it was still calm around so it was truly amazing. 10/10 would recommend to everyone! The rooms have very big windows and you have a super beautiful view of the Empire State Building from the room, even though I did not book a specific room. Overall super happy! The staff was very friendly too and many things are complimentary such as wine hour and tea in the mornings!
GGuest UserWhen traveling abroad, I sometimes worry about the cleanliness of the water areas, but I was very satisfied with the clean shower rooms here.
There are three toilets on the floor separate from the rooms, and there is also a water server, which I thought was convenient.
I'm glad I chose this hotel for my first trip to New York.
I will use it again when I travel.
FFANLoved the rooftop bar with killer skyline views - perfect for Instagram! Rooms had a cool, modern vibe with mood lighting (and that sexy red shower was a vibe). But man, those rooms are TINY - barely had space to open my suitcase. Staff was hit or miss - some super friendly, others acted like I was bothering them. Location's decent but not amazing - had to walk a bit for subway access. Worth it if you catch a good deal, but don't expect luxury.
JJIANThe hotel is conveniently located for transit or return. But a little distance from the city, you need to drive. Then it is more old. But the price is good, breakfast is OK.
