Closed when I arrived, mum not happy to see me, opened up, showed me to my room that was not made up. Very poor quality room, I helped make the bed. Only one sheet for the bed. 15 minutes later, dad showed up ( whilst I was online looking for alternate accommodation), and showed me a different room up stairs, out the back, that was better. I waited while the bedding was moved from the first room to the second room. Again helped make the bed, I had to negotiate to get a top sheet. No soap for the shower, only one towel, no remote control for the Aircon. Good breakfast. Great location for bus services. Poor customer service for tourist amenities. Bad advice and booking Service for departure bus, do your own research and book online or with a local office, you have a better chance of knowing what you are getting. I left before staying my second night. I could not recommend this accommodation and would not stay again. I wish them good luck for the future. Pete

Had a super time at this clean, friendly, charming hotel. The owner Mrs Ai went out of her way to ensure I was well fed even though I was vegan with lots of dietary restrictions. She took me on her bike to get fresh sugar cane juice, fresh coconut water. We were there actually in March 2023 but since I am late writing a review cannot select before April 2023! Four of us were in Phong Nha mainly for the caving expedition but found the area so scenic we stayed extra days. Am so looking forward to my next visit to this hotel again.

Pros- The couple that run the place are very nice. The wife speaks really good English and is very hospitable. The husband doesn’t speak any but he invited me for coffee and helped me with taxis. The price is great. The rooms are clean, bed is pretty comfortable. The hotel is by a busy street but it’s pretty quiet inside the room 😊 Good water pressure and very hot water is also a plus. Con - It’s in a location that is mostly furniture stores or auto mechanics. Also everything closes around 9pm so if you are a night owl like me you have to go pretty far to find food or drinks. I’d recommend getting a motorbike. Overall, for the price, it isn’t fancy but you have clean room, nice owners, and a quiet space. 👍

This was the highlight of my trip. I loved Moon!! (My host) & all the other beautiful ladies l, they were so welcoming & helpful! They went above & beyond in their hospitality. the town had a power outage & the staff invited me to sit with them to be included in the fanning 🪭 how sweet! Moon passed me walking & gave me a ride on her scooter. They offered me a Kayak & a shower & towel after I had checked out waiting for my bus to arrive to depart. The restaurant has amazing vegan food, & the place has great air conditioning which was great this time of year! they gave clear instructions for the hot water & booked my tours & bus’ for me, they even came on scooter to pick me up! & helped with my bags. They make you feel like home & so welcome! Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️

First-class environment and first-class landscape. You can swim, row and go out of the room at will, family-style, friendly, English communication is not barriers, breakfast is not rich but sufficient, three meals a day are enough, the price is very reasonable. There are a little more mosquitoes, and it can be understood. After all, it is a natural environment, and it is no problem if the door is closed. Next time I come to live here, quiet and convenient, Oxali is nearby

Loved the little bungalow, super clean (no bugs) which is lovely. The family who own it super welcoming and friendly. Who doesn’t love a comfortable bed and great Ac. All you need when travelling. Even arranged for us to get a scooter for the days we was there. If we are ever back we will defo be returning to the bungalows.

This is an awesome place to stay in Phong Nha. The family are friendly, rooms are spacious and breakfast is complimentary. Rooms are beautifully presented, clean, aircon and tremendous value for what you get. Make sure you try and get to know the family when you are there, they will look after you well. I have stayed here before and after covid in total probably 5 times and I keep coming back. 5 stars.
