Lots of facilities here for kids but old. The new cabins are clean and beautiful but the old cabins some are dirty and smelly. The staff here are not nice people.
Pros- reception staff are nice and welcoming. Place is clean. Plenty of tea n coffee in the room. Unfortunately it was a bit cold for me to swim in the lagoon but there are a few warm but small spas to have a dip in. There is also a steam room and a restaurant(expensive)
Cons- the room did not have a wall socket next to the bed, it was located on the opposite side of the bed. So had to sit on the chair to charge and use my phone. Then had to leave it on charge there while i slept and then get out of bed to go pick get the phone once charged which can disturb your sleep a bit. The restaurant there has nice food but is expensive, the parmi was $38 and $6 for the drink
We stayed last night and it was incredible value for money. Place is spotless. Room very comfortable with a great shower. Breakfast was included and it was really good - great selection of cooked breakfast plus extras like pancakes. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Leur
Great facilities for kids however this place requires pest control. Ants spiders and even rat poo found inside the cabin. Its quiet disgusting. If you stay in the newer cabins its more enjoyable.
The clamping tents were not much more than a tent on a site. No TV, bed linen that smelt, not even a PowerPoint near the bed to plug in required sleep supports. Very overpriced for what we received. We booked for three, room was full of fold up bed and linen on the lounge. Only option was to sit outside with the bugs at night. No Air conditioning, so basic for the price. Certainly not glamping. . Other campers were very loud to after 10.30pm. Overall a disappointing selection.
We had a wonderful stay at the Resort. The apartment was large and spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. The apartment had everything you need and more, a dishwasher and washing machine. Everything was clean, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. The pool area was beautiful, with plenty of comfortable loungers to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The entire property is well-maintained and very attractive. It’s a perfect place to relax, recharge, and slow down. Highly recommended!
My family enjoyed our 1 night stay at Discovery Park Moama West. Warm and friendly staff greeted us on arrival. Our cabin was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, including a spa which the kids enjoyed after dinner. Our cabin was close to the pool and the playground, the jumping pillow was fun for the kids. The pool was a bit cold for the adults but this didn't stop the kids who are a lot tougher than their parents. Great location, a short drive to the RSL where we had dinner with 10% off everything when we showed our cabin key tag.
Arrived around 7 PM , got confused with the lake hume resort unaware the discovery holiday park was close by
Perhaps a prominent large sign is needed as you approach Lake Hume ..
Lighting around Reception & boom gates at night could be vastly improved as well as in the discovery park itself otherwise it would have been hard to find our intended Cabin (11)
Cabin sliding door at cabin 11 was really hard to unlock & close ( esp when arriving at night )
accomodation itself was very good , clean & comfortable , heating was very good
metal dining tables were hard & cold to sit on
Lovely lake & hilly mountain views are a attraction & good appeal to the discovery park
The location is unbeatable, just five minutes away from the popular pink rock swimming pool

GGuest UserWe had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!
GGuest UserWe booked W sydney months in advance with breakfast included and is worth it . Food choices are plenty during breakfast and can order different eggs style and cooking preparation during breakfast and can order different hot or cooled selection of drinks as well. Hotel is clean and location is near china town ,paddys market , and harbour easily accessible to townhall in a walkable distance of 7-10 mins away. There is a fireworks show on saturday night that lasted 5-7minutes.. There are lots of restaurants around the area and ice cream shops as well . There is even a park at the back of the hotel and a playground for kids. I highly recommend this hotel. There is 2 pool in the hotel at 22nd floor and 29th floor . The hotel is beside Imax cinema .
Llc770The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Central Station, making it super convenient to get around. You can take the railway directly from the hotel entrance all the way to the last stop and it's not far to walk to the Sydney Opera House from there. The facilities pretty much cover all the basics, and having a kitchen to cook your own meals is a great bonus, much cheaper than eating out.
KKazz TStayed for 3days room was clean went to make fold out lounge for son bed broken moved to new room but when it was time to sleep laying on bed was like laying on a hill laying head first pool was not heated got up to have coffee on veranda in the morning a the guy upstairs was smoking *** the smell was so strong told staff to be told that sum appartments are private
PPengtaaleinasiThe Crown Tower in Sydney was an absolutely perfect experience! Unobstructed panoramic views of Sydney Harbour, with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge perfectly framed. The high-altitude infinity pool was stunning, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and equipped with top-notch facilities. The service was efficient and incredibly attentive. The dining was excellent and getting around was a breeze. It truly boasts the city's best viewpoints, offering an unparalleled sense of luxury. Without a doubt, it's Sydney's premier hotel – a definite must-book!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Circular Quay, the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and the Royal Botanic Garden. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the room view was disappointing. We booked a 'Skyline King Room,' but there was no skyline visible at all; we just looked out onto old, dilapidated rooftops. The room also felt quite small.

GGuest UserAbsolutely comfortable and nice room, and there’s some free water soaked with fresh fruit in the grand design lobby just in the entrance area which is good👍🏽
And it takes 10mins walk to Central Station and quite convenient to go to many spots in Sydney Center

GGuest UserThe hotel ticks a lot of boxes, clean modern rooms, pool and steam room, and in the best location, very central over looking the beach. The hotel has just had a refurbishment, very tidy with a good bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Only slight negative, front dest - check in could be better and a bit more friendly.
If you want to stay in Manly, this hotel is your best choice, the other main hotel is way down at the end of the beach.
Ppeipei anPros:
1. The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to Hyde Park. It's walking distance to Westfield, the Australian Museum, and the Big Bus stop.
2. For those renting a car, it's super convenient as it's directly an Eurocar pickup point.
3. There are plenty of great eateries nearby. If you're staying here, I'd say skip the hotel breakfast entirely and explore the various brunch spots around. Especially about 300-400 meters from the hotel, there's a fantastic Chaco Ramen place – their Yuzu Scallop ramen is highly recommended! We stayed for four days and ate there twice; both the adults and kids loved it.
Cons:
1. The hotel is indeed old, and the facilities generally show their age. This is especially true for the sofa and chairs in the room, which felt a bit dirty.
2. The daily housekeeping service was really subpar; it feels like there's no consistent training. One day they'd toss your pajamas here, the next day they'd put them there... and sometimes, if they felt like it, they'd provide amenities, but if not, even if you were out, they wouldn't replenish them. Used cups also seemed to be placed wherever, without a fixed spot.
3. It felt like there were a lot of Indian guests staying at the hotel. If you're okay with that, then disregard this point.
4. The hotel elevators are very slow, which is particularly frustrating during peak times in the morning when there's heavy traffic!

GGuest UserThe hotel is unique and was renovated from a pier.
The location is quite convenient. At the seventh stop of Bigbus, walk about 500 meters to the NSW Art Gallery, and then walk about 500 meters to St. Mary's Church and Hyde Park, and walk about 200 meters to the Sydney Museum. It is about 500 meters from St. Mary's Church to David Jones Shopping Center.
It is about one kilometer to the Opera House and the Rocks.
It is very suitable for city walks, but not as noisy as the central area.
