Hotels With Pools in South Yorkshire, United Kingdom

It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

The location was absolutely perfect, and everything else about the stay was great. Unfortunately, I have to knock off points for two major issues. First, the WiFi was very unstable and kept disconnecting. Second, the reception was not efficient at all – I called 4 to 5 times on the first day to ask about the WiFi issue, but my calls were never properly attended to. If they fix the communication and internet, this would be five stars --- Tip: If you want to be harsher because the staff ignored you, give a 2 and change the first sentence to ”The location was perfect, which is the only reason this isn't a 1.” But based on your description, a 3 is the fairest balance.

Excellent, it even has a balcony. The room is significantly larger than other hotels in Sheffield. Although it's a bit far from the university, it's quite close to the cathedral in the city center. The room and surrounding environment are fantastic, with a beautiful little river nearby. Breakfast purchased can be refunded in advance with the front desk if you suddenly decide you don't need it anymore. The service was truly excellent. Just remember to ask the front desk for toilet paper if you run out. I stayed with my family for my graduation ceremony, and even with a lot of luggage, we had plenty of room. If I have the chance to come to Sheffield again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

The hotel's location is super convenient, close to Cruceburg Theatre and Shecun Railway Station, so getting around is no problem. However, the rooms and facilities are a bit old and small. Like many UK hotels, it doesn't provide slippers or toiletries, so remember to bring your own if you book here.

We stayed in March 2024 had a good experience then, but this visit last weekend 11th May 24 was very disappointing we found the room dirty with insects crawling around under the bed, we asked to change room which we did but found the same problem which i pointed out to the night receptionist, he came up with a 3rd room clean luckily at midnight, now very tired we slept well and spoke to reception at check out who offered us a complimentary Breakfast which was nice but doesn't make you want to return again if the rooms are presented to you so dirty please see photos i did write to the hotel manager on 13th May but as yet have received NO reply

Upon arrival the receptionist Chloe, made me think twice, did I book the right hotel! Her demeanour was not so welcoming, no smile, body language was off, no questions asked such as ”have you stayed here before”. She was quite blunt and straight faced. However, the room attendants, spa staff, and the young lady (blond hair) on the bar approximately 9pm on 20th February were very cheerful and polite, we had a brief conversation. The only downside, I found a mouse dropping on my duvet! Other than this, I would stay again.
