I had requested a little complimentary surprise for my husband’s belated birthday and our upcoming wedding anniversary, and to our surprise, they prepared two cakes for us! GGuest UserOverall, this was an above average apartment stay. Lots of amenities in the apartment, including a washing machine, cooker and full size fridge. The biggest advantage is definitely the location — the apartment is situated directly above Paradigm Mall, making it extremely convenient for shopping, dining and getting around without having to travel far.
The stay itself was comfortable enough, but there were a couple of issues worth highlighting. Firstly, we received an unauthorised SMS that appeared to be related to our booking, and we nearly fell victim to a scam. Guests should be especially cautious about responding to suspicious messages or making payments outside the official booking platform.
Secondly, although the apartment can accommodate up to 7 guests, we were provided with only one access key card. This was quite inconvenient, especially for a larger group where people may have different schedules and need to come and go independently.
Overall, the stay was satisfactory and the excellent mall location was a major plus, but better security awareness and providing sufficient key cards for the number of guests would significantly improve the experience.

AAftanLocation is very good, being connected to the mall.
Towels in the room were threadbare and old. There was a pronounced smell of sweat and body odor when I first entered the room. The bedsheets had a stain. The baywindow seat was badly stained. Pillows are small and smelt musty, providing little support.
Breakfast selection was not what you'd expect from a Malaysian hotel of this class. The international /continental selection was thin and guests wanting healthier options e.g. hard boiled eggs, bananas, apples, uncooked oats, were not given these selections which are low cost and easy to provide.
The staff were very professional and courteous. They are amongst the best I have met.

GGuest UserWe had a pleasant two-night stay, and overall, everything was great. We really liked the room layout, cleanliness, and the overall condition of the place.
However, I would like to mention a couple of things for improvement. First, the main door lock was quite difficult to open and use. I would recommend having it checked and repaired properly.
Secondly, there is an issue with the lock on the laundry room door. It cannot be locked from inside the house, but it can be locked from the outside. This could be a security concern, so I would recommend fixing or replacing the lock to ensure better safety and privacy.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and hope these small issues can be improved for future guests.

MMcainI had a really pleasant and comfortable stay at Ramada Hotel Johor Bahru, especially in the East Wing room. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day. Everything was neatly arranged, and the bed was very comfortable, giving me a good night’s rest throughout my stay.
What I appreciated the most was the overall cleanliness and attention to detail in the room. The facilities were in good condition, and everything felt well taken care of. The hotel environment itself was calm and welcoming, which added to the whole experience.
The staff were also friendly, polite, and helpful whenever needed, making the stay even more enjoyable. Service was smooth from check-in to check-out, which I really value when staying at a hotel.
Overall, I would say Ramada Hotel Johor Bahru is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Johor Bahru. The East Wing room in particular is definitely worth it. I would happily come back again and recommend it to others.

We cannot take it so many cockroaches and I report it and send the photo but there’s no action. Very disappointing additional on that the toilet really stinks like the urine smell. I can say they never clean the toilet properly cos the sink also have stain.

RRickyzaimamaThis has to be the worst Four Points by Sheraton I've ever stayed at 😅. The decor is on par with a 200-300 RMB budget hotel in China; only the lobby and corridors look somewhat decent. The soundproofing is abysmal. You can feel the floor vibrating when kids run and jump upstairs... and the constant hum of the air conditioning unit kept me awake all night. The hygiene was terrible; there were crumbs on the floor, and I even found a balloon left by a previous guest when I lay on the bed... The trash can in the bathroom was also very dirty... My first task after checking in was to clean the room with sanitary wipes. The only redeeming quality is its proximity to a supermarket, which was convenient for buying things.
