This hotel is super convenient, really close to the subway station and the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station – you can even get there directly by subway. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven and McDonald's nearby for all your shopping needs. The only downsides are that the rooms are a bit small and can feel a little damp, but otherwise, it's pretty good. They have an open-air dining area on the second floor with free coffee and bread, and there's a water dispenser on every floor, which is a nice touch!

Our room had a fantastic view of Victoria Harbour and the pool downstairs, with Kowloon right across. The hotel service was excellent; the bellboy was particularly helpful and nice, explaining all the room's features. We booked this hotel because my child's school is nearby, and it turned out to be very convenient. There are lots of great food options around, and several Mannings stores, which was great for shopping. The Fortress Hill MTR station is also a short and easy walk away.

The hotel is a bit far from popular attractions like Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. A HKD 500 deposit is required upon check-in, and they accept RMB. There's a McDonald's, a 'cha chaan teng' (local cafe), and a convenience store nearby, so food options are pretty convenient. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel; you can take 4 stops to reach Wong Chuk Hang MTR station. Although the room is a bit small, it's very clean. Overall, it's still quite good.

Even though it wasn't a weekend or a holiday, the hotel upgraded me to a sea-view suite for free. The view was absolutely stunning, and the room was incredibly spacious. The only downside was that the room was really damp, which couldn't be helped. On a side note, the toothpaste quality was excellent, unlike the powdery taste you often get in mainland hotels. The lobby staff were very attentive, and the employee who handled my luggage storage was very dedicated.

They upgraded us to a sea-view room for free since there weren't many guests, and it looked exactly like the photos. Considering the price of 729 (including tax) for such a spacious room, it was quite good, especially compared to the cramped rooms with one-meter beds in Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui that cost almost 1000. It's a bit of a walk, about 10 minutes from the MTR station, but it's still convenient for getting around. Overall, very satisfied.

This hotel boasts an excellent location – it's right in the heart of Hung Hom, what I like to call the 'center of the universe.' There's a side entrance that leads directly into a mall, offering plenty of dining, entertainment, and even car shopping options. A skybridge connects the mall to PolyU, and nearby you'll find the Hong Kong Science Museum and Hong Kong Museum of History, making it super convenient for exploring. From the hotel's back exit, you can walk past the Hong Kong Coliseum and soon reach the trendy new hotspot, the Hung Hom Promenade. The hotel also provides multiple shuttle buses to Middle Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, and Hung Hom Station is conveniently located nearby. I booked a suite this time, and I wasn't aware of any specific benefits when I made the reservation. So, I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk staff, referring to a printout, informed me that it included a buffet breakfast for two, as well as afternoon tea and evening refreshments at the Executive Lounge. The room was quite clean and quiet at night. The kitchen facilities were very complete, perfect for anyone who wants to cook during their stay. The hotel's breakfast spread was quite extensive, featuring a variety of Chinese, Western, Japanese, and Indian dishes. It caters wonderfully to guests from different countries, ethnicities, and backgrounds worldwide. The Executive Lounge is conveniently located on the same floor as the suites. I visited twice, and the atmosphere was elegant with incredible sea views. Even better, you can step out onto the terrace to admire the stunning views of Victoria Harbour, which are equally beautiful day or night. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

First of all, the room was much bigger than we expected. We were prepared to have nothing but a bed in the room but was actually quite spacious and it has a little compartment under the bed to put our carry ons so the room didn’t feel cramped to us. Location wise, it was great. There are metro stops nearby which we took everywhere since Hong Kong is sooo big, and also bus stops around the whole place. The walls in the room are a bit thin so if you’re a VERY light sleeper that might bother you but it was no issue to us.

Location & Transport: Situated on the bustling Kimberley Road, the hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station. It's within walking distance to Victoria Harbour, Harbour City, K11 MUSEA, and the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Dining: The hotel features restaurants like the Imperial Court Chinese Restaurant and a coffee shop. The area is also a foodie's paradise, with Yung Kee Roast Goose directly opposite, Chong Sao Dessert House within walking distance, and a 7-Eleven and Don Quijote nearby.

Located in the old town, very close to Kai Tak Sports Park. The area downstairs has a strong local vibe, with a wet market and many repair shops, so finding places to eat is easy. The room size is quite generous for Hong Kong, and the view from the window is nice, you can even see Kai Tak. Overall, it offers good value for money. The complimentary hotel shuttle bus service to West Kowloon is a major plus, solving a lot of transportation issues.

Room Environment: My 'premium room' with frosted, non-opening windows turned out to be a 'cemetery view room' or 'mountain view room,' right next to the Hong Kong Cemetery. It was surprisingly quiet though. I imagine a city view room might be a bit noisy since it's by an elevated highway. Cleanliness: Not great. I felt like the countertops weren't wiped down, there were water stains everywhere, and I even found a long hair from a previous guest on the wall. Facilities: Besides the disposable toiletries, they provide basic amenities like a fridge, hairdryer, makeup mirror, kettle, and even hand soap and body lotion. However, everything is quite old; even the plastic cups had scratches on the inside. On the bright side, there's a free pinball machine downstairs which was pretty fun. Service: The front desk staff were okay, and they spoke Mandarin which was helpful. You have to buy toiletries yourself from a vending machine downstairs, and there's no water dispenser in the room; you have to get water from one in the hallway. If your room is near the dispenser, you'll definitely hear people filling their bottles. Value for Money: If it were around 500 RMB, a cemetery view room would be great value. But I booked three weeks in advance for over 700 RMB, and it was non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and I couldn't even change the guest name. Then, closer to the May Day holiday, the price was practically cut in half! So, keep an eye on the pricing when you book.

MMrs shenI visited during the holidays, and a deposit wasn't required for check-in, which was great. The front desk staff, a very kind gentleman, even upgraded my room upon arrival, which I really appreciated. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the MTR station, but they do offer a shuttle bus service. Be aware that you might have to queue, and it can get quite crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading back to the hotel, so you might not get on the first bus. Tsuen Wan MTR station is about a 30-minute ride to Disneyland, which isn't too far, so it's a good option if you're looking for value for money. I spent all three days at Disneyland, so I didn't get a chance to use any of the hotel's other facilities. However, the room had a lovely view of the beach, which was a nice bonus. The room was well-equipped with amenities like toothpaste and toothbrushes. Just remember to bring your own UK-style plug adapter. Overall, I found the hotel to be excellent value for money.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe hotel lobby is spacious and bright, with a grand feel, and the color scheme gives it a touch of mystery. Since we were traveling as a family of three adults and one child, we chose the Explorer Hotel for its large beds. It was very convenient; when we didn't feel like going to the park, we could easily spend a whole afternoon at the hotel. There were many souvenir shops with small figurines, and our child was so engrossed they didn't want to go back to the room. During check-in, our child could watch TV nearby. The overall facilities are excellent. The restaurant is on the first basement floor. We paid extra for a higher floor because we were worried about mosquitoes. The view from the high floor was truly amazing, overlooking the pool below and the coastal scenic area, which was a great spot for early-rising seniors to exercise. As soon as we entered the lobby, we were greeted by a very pleasant fragrance. I asked the staff, and they said it was a special blend provided by a partner and not available in stores. My husband and I both loved the scent – it was fresh and elegant, not cloying or bland at all. During our two-night stay, my husband bought three bottles of wine: two beers and one red wine, all of which were excellent. I tried them too and found the flavors very appealing to women. My child's favorite was definitely the pool on the ground floor. For two consecutive mornings, our child went swimming. On the second morning, they played for three hours, and I forgot to put sunscreen on, resulting in 'black stockings' on their arms and legs from the sun. On the third morning, they only swam for an hour before heading to the restaurant for pizza. Birds often flew in and out of the restaurant; they were very cute but harmless, though a bit skittish. On the check-in floor, there was delicious chocolate for sale, and you could walk around both floors to collect stamps. You really wouldn't get bored; there's so much to do. I feel our child is the type who enjoys a slow, immersive experience, so they might need five days to truly get their fill.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything organized perfectly. The location was also very convenient, close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of options every morning. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the excellent customer service throughout my stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and quality service.

GGuest UserThis was my second stay at Kerry Hotel, and after a great first experience, this one really soured my impression. I've stayed in many star-rated hotels, and it's quite common for staff to help bring a cup of coffee to the table during breakfast. Here, however, my request was denied, and I was vaguely told where the coffee machine was. Being denied isn't the issue; what's laughable is that immediately after I was refused, another staff member agreed to get coffee for the girl at the next table! So, does your hotel staff discriminate based on who you are? When I checked out, the doorman seemed enthusiastic about helping with my luggage, but only took it to the car's trunk. As soon as the driver got out, he just walked away, even prompting the local driver to complain about the hotel's terrible service! Moving luggage to the trunk is part of their job. For thousands a night, you'd expect better service! If you want to earn money from mainland guests, stop treating them differently.

GGuest UserThis hotel's location is incredibly convenient, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The hallways throughout the hotel are very pleasant, and the elevators are also exceptionally tidy. The housekeeping staff are very professional, making for an overall excellent experience. There's a restaurant right in the lobby downstairs, and the lobby staff and manager are very patient, friendly, and efficient. The area around the hotel is full of shops, dining, and great transportation options – it's truly fantastic. I'll definitely stay here every time I visit!

BBCBThe hotel is very spacious and conveniently located close to the beach. The entrance was absolutely lovely, featuring a fountain, plenty of flowers, and a charming little house at the center. We had a room with a balcony that was extremely large and offered a beautiful sea view. Unfortunately, there was a dead beetle on the floor upon arrival. On each floor, there's a water dispenser with drinking water, so you can easily refill your bottle. The swimming pool is huge and very child-friendly. The only downside was the lack of umbrellas by the poolside to shield against the strong sun—so if your child wanted to swim longer than you did, you just had to wait in the sun. That was the only drawback.

GGuest UserThe hotel room is very spacious, and the sea view is absolutely fantastic, offering views of both Disneyland Hotel and Central. Do note there's no bathtub, so you can't soak, but the shower stall is huge, and the bathroom also boasts full sea views, which is very comfortable. Downstairs, you can catch a bus to Discovery Bay Plaza, which has a beach. The bus service is very convenient; even locals use public transport. The proportion of foreigners is probably around 60-70%, and often, almost everyone around you is foreign, with very few Asian faces. Discovery Bay as a whole is very clean. The restaurants are chill but also pricey. The best part is the ferry: it goes to Central every half hour, to Mui Wo on weekends, and to Peng Chau Island almost every half hour. It's like a public bus boat – in just 10 minutes, you can hop from a chill island to a local fishing village island. It's definitely worth going to try a local restaurant.

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious, but the facilities were old and showed signs of wear and tear in many places. The bathtub drain was rusty, and the showerhead leaked heavily along the hose, making it impossible to shower properly without getting clothes soaked. So, I couldn't record a video. There were cracks on the side of the sink and a hole in the wallpaper near the bedside lamp. The room had poor sound insulation, and there was a damp, pungent smell from the carpet, which left me with a sore throat in the morning. Luckily, I only stayed for one day, so I didn't bother complaining to the front desk. Service: I booked my room quite early, and after taxes, it was over 800 yuan, excluding breakfast. On the day of check-in, the room rate was 200-300 yuan cheaper than when I booked, but the staff didn't offer me a room upgrade. The service was mediocre, not as good as other hotels in the same price range. Pros: There's a 299X bus stop right in front of the hotel, which is super convenient for getting to Sai Kung Pier ⛵️. It's a direct route. Surroundings: You need to take a taxi to the nearest mall; it's a bit far to walk.

VVicki yuengOverall, it exceeded my expectations. For a price of 600+ in this location, it's quite good, especially since it includes breakfast and afternoon tea. This Ctrip voucher deal offered incredible value for money. It was Mother's Day on the day of check-in, and although there wasn't any special gesture, the sweet young lady at the front desk seemed to have upgraded my room. It was on a high floor and very quiet, with a spacious room and a large bed. The pillows were also very comfortable – excellent! 👌 First, the positives: The location is superb, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the afternoon tea is better than breakfast. Plus, the 30th floor was a pleasant surprise with drinks, coffee, and toys. Both adults and children were thrilled! On the first day, a toy lost a leg, and on the second day, we found that the hotel had replaced it with a new one – truly fantastic! 👍 Now, for the negatives: The breakfast really isn't worth it; I'd rather book a room-only rate and eat out, perhaps at Sister Hua. The restaurant seriously needs an overhaul, especially since it's on the first floor and the lighting isn't great, which spoiled the breakfast experience. Also, the TV in the room was exceptionally dim. With my aging eyes, I could barely see the screen, and I couldn't figure out how to adjust the brightness, so I barely watched it. Overall, the value for money is good, and the service is also quite decent. Keep up the good work!
