Romantic Hotels in Hong Kong, China

I booked two deluxe rooms in advance because my friend and I were going to a Jacky Cheung concert at the Coliseum. When we checked in at the hotel lobby, the front desk lady, Niece, greeted us with a big smile, showing her cute little canine tooth on the right side. Her service was excellent! She upgraded us to a sea-view suite for free, right on the waterfront—what a pleasant surprise! The room was huge, quite new, with a living room, a separate toilet, and a large, clean bathroom with a dry/wet split design. It was nothing like the 'old and rundown' reviews I saw online! This is the first time I've ever stayed in such a nice room for a few hundred Hong Kong dollars. Overall, it felt clean, comfortable, and airy! Next time I come for a concert, I'll definitely choose Harbour Plaza Metropolis again. Oh, and with Hong Kong's plastic ban, remember to bring your own toothbrush and comb! Also, if the front desk could speed up the check-in process to be more like in mainland China, it would be absolutely perfect!

The room was clean and tidy, and even with four of us, it felt spacious. Just a few dozen meters downstairs from the hotel, there's a goose neck market where you can experience local life. Right next to the market is the famous 'Kow Kee Seafood Restaurant,' and Times Square is just a 6-minute walk away. Everything from dining to shopping to transportation is very convenient. The hotel can also arrange for taxis, which is a great plus!

I actually fell in love with Hong Kong because of this hotel 🇭🇰. I'll choose to travel to Hong Kong for any holiday, big or small 🧳. I've stayed here every time I've visited over the years, and the front desk manager is always warm and thoughtful, once again upgrading me and my children to a suite. The hotel has updated its decor. The kids felt like they were living in Disneyland. They were incredibly happy. Thank you, Dorsett Hotel, for a perfect vacation for me and my children. You can't go wrong choosing to stay here! The location is fantastic, super convenient for shopping in Causeway Bay and getting anywhere. The experience was so good, I just left and I'm already planning my next holiday trip for this year ❤️🍾🌈

The location is excellent, not far from the subway. For Hong Kong, the hotel rooms are really quite large and spacious. The hotel breakfast is very rich, and the front desk staff Maggie, Alice, Coco, Terry, Ivan, Susan, Ben, Alan, Francis, and all the housekeeping staff provide very good and attentive service. They even helped us find a small toy our child left in the room. Highly recommended.

This hotel is located at a pretty accessible area. It is about 3-5mins away from the Fortress Hill MTR station. The surrounding food options are great too! The room size is pretty compact but because of the mirrors effect, it doesn’t give you a claustrophobic feel. The only thing is that the cleanliness of the room and bathroom needs to be improved. I found strands of hair on the duvet and in the bathroom. There is a funky smell (like urine) coming from the toilet as well. Otherwise, it is a pretty good place for a short stay. Maybe the hotel management can look into replacing the toilet bowls and the sewage during the next renovation.

We stayed in a family room and it was great. The room was spacious and included breakfast. For the New Year's Day holiday, the price was very affordable, definitely worth recommending. The only thing to note is that the hotel doesn't provide disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste, so remember to bring your own.

It was okay. The hotel is close to the subway station, the room was clean, and breakfast was decent. The housekeeping and breakfast staff were very nice, but the front desk employees were very unprofessional. Check-in was incredibly slow, they messed up the room assignment, and they were always cold-faced towards guests, completely lacking any service awareness.

Excellent experience. The front desk had a very gentle and polite lady who kindly recommended suitable upgrade options for us. She explained everything in detail without being pushy, and her friendly and natural demeanor made our check-in very pleasant! The upgraded room was reasonably priced, the environment was fantastic, and the breakfast was incredibly rich. We're already planning to stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong.

The room was clean and tidy with an excellent view. The hotel facilities were comprehensive, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of dishes. The service was attentive and thorough, making us feel right at home. The restaurant manager was humorous and engaging, clearly prioritizing the customer experience.

I booked a deluxe sea view twin room, but the room was ridiculously small. Two people couldn't even stand side-by-side, and the bathroom was even tinier, with no proper vanity, just a mini sink. They called it a deluxe sea view room, but it was just a room with a tiny peek of the sea. The location is pretty good though, a few hundred meters from the MTR station, making it convenient to get to Central and Tsim Sha Tsui. The female receptionist on duty when I checked in was very friendly; I didn't experience the kind of discriminatory treatment I'd read about online.
