The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The facilities were complete, the environment was quiet, and the service was excellent. The price was affordable and the transportation was convenient. It's especially suitable for business travel.

Luckily, the front desk upgraded us to a premium room. The room was spacious and clean, and they thoughtfully provided charging cables by the bed. The large, round bathtub was a pleasant surprise! The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, with convenience stores and a supermarket nearby, making shopping very convenient.
Points to improve:
* There was no briefing during check-in about the hotel amenities. We had to discover everything on our own, which should be the minimum standard for a hotel.
* There is a kitchen on each floor (which we only learned later by reading reviews), as well as another kitchen downstairs. We used the kitchen to prepare food, and while eating we were approached by staff asking whether we had used utensils from the kitchen. After confirming that we had, we were told we could not use them because they belonged to other people. I then asked how guests are expected to cook, and was told we should buy our own pans and utensils. This was very surprising and impractical for travelers. We continued using the kitchen on our floor. Feedback to the hotel: either provide proper shared kitchen equipment for guests or clearly do not advertise these spaces as usable kitchens.
* The Wi-Fi in our room was not strong enough for work.
* The room is quite small, but this is understandable given the price in Hong Kong.
* The location is far from the city center, although it is conveniently close to public transportation.
* Staff could be better trained and more welcoming. This is hospitality guys, not a factory!
* Large tour groups often arrive at the same time, making the reception area very noisy and chaotic. This made it difficult to work or take calls in the lobby.
* Internet speed was around 30 Mbps, which was not sufficient for stable remote work.
Good things:
* The hotel is very clean.
* There are several facilities available, including a small yoga space, small gym, laundry machines (paid), video games, movie nights, and a nice coworking area in front of the reception.
* There is also a workspace downstairs, which we only discovered on our last day — this could be better communicated to guests.
* The price is fair for what is offered in Hong Kong.

I booked a king room but was upgraded for free to a slightly larger twin room. The room has sealed windows, so the air conditioning was running constantly for ventilation. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and disposable slippers were provided. The hotel's location is quite close to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, with many restaurants and shopping malls nearby. It's also near Victoria Harbour, making it convenient for getting around, especially for solo travelers. Overall, it's pretty good.

The hotel is a decent distance from the subway station, about a ten-minute walk, which is quite convenient. The room environment is pretty good, and the facilities are relatively new. The price is also reasonable. The only downside compared to other hotels I've stayed at before is the lack of snack shops nearby!

The location is fantastic. However, the room I was given this time reeked. The front desk initially said they were fully booked and wouldn't switch my room, but eventually, they moved me to a tatami room. Even that room had a strong odor, and the air vent wasn't blowing any air. I reported this to the front desk when checking out, and they said they'd address it promptly. I hope for a better experience next time.

Stayed for a few days as a solo traveller and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Shower and toilet is a bit small but manageable for solo travellers, might be difficult if sharing a room with someone else. Worth noting that the hotel only provides paper cups and one-time use towels, more one-time use towels and plastic cutlery can be purchased from the vending machine downstairs. Overall, good value for money and situated nearby plenty of shopping malls, food options, and MTR stations.

The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get anywhere, and it's really close to the subway. Plus, there are all sorts of food options right downstairs. The room is more spacious compared to other places, and the overall environment is great; it feels fresh and new after the renovation. A big plus is that the soundproofing is pretty decent too.

My stay was amazing. The view was great from my room. And the space was feels like your living in a studio apartment than just stay at a hotel. Very Home like feeling. The location is also great not to crowded. I will stay here again. And thank you for the complimentary since I stay here on my birthday weekend.

GGuest UserReally enjoy the hotel’s services, they offer free shuttle bus to and from tseun muen station every 15 minutes, I can get to the metro easily. The view from the hotel is so nice, great for a relaxing trip, you can visit the beach, enjoy the sauna and pool. The room is clean and comfortable, you can get cold drinking water in dispenser. Most of all, the staffs are all so helpful, they helped us order taxi for an early flight to the airport, they also patiently assisted in looking for my stuff that I left inside the room after checking out. Overall, really enjoy my stay. Most of all, the hotel is really beautiful and well-maintained.
MMommyDAs we stepped into Explorers, the scent and cooling ambience made us feel great! The service staffs were all friendly too and we really felt welcomed. During check in, I was informed that we will be dining at Dragon Wind. During the first day breakfast, we found out that Halal option is only available for preorder one day in advance. Nevertheless, the staff at Dragon Wind walked us through the buffet line to advise which food is vegetarian/halal friendly. He also ensured that we get a proper main dish even though the halal menu was not preordered. He arranged for chefs to whip up Vegetarian Egg Noodles and Vegetarian Fried Rice for my kids who are allergic to eggs. And he constantly checks in on us for both days to make sure that we’re okay with the food and service. We had halal main course the next day!
Thank you for Mr Keith for going the extra mile in making sure that we had a good breakfast during our stay.
DDaisy_unaI booked one night at this hotel because I had an early flight the next day! (It wasn't my first time staying here!) The hotel is a bit old, but the hygiene is acceptable. However, the location is unbeatable – right inside the airport! As a luxury hotel within Hong Kong International Airport, the staff's attitude was arrogant and impolite. They really need better training in customer service.

Outstanding
BBazai_Me..Facilities: The facilities are well-maintained and not outdated at all, I'm very satisfied.
Hygiene: The hygiene is clean and tidy, and the cleaning is meticulous.
Environment: The location offers stunning Victoria Harbour views and is very convenient for getting to Harbour City.
Service: The staff are very enthusiastic and accommodating.
Minibar: They offered a complimentary minibar, which was a thoughtful touch!
The Kerry Hotel will be my choice again when I return to Hong Kong. It's much more convenient than I expected to get to Sushiro and convenience stores! The prime location allows us to enjoy the most beautiful harbor views from the hotel, and the night view is absolutely breathtaking! It's the best choice for a vacation.
GGuest UserHighly recommend this hotel for its convenience and space, especially for Hong Kong standards!
Easy Transit: Very convenient to get to from the airport via the A31 bus.
Great Amenities: Plenty of local food options and a supermarket below the hotel.
Spacious Rooms: Considerably spacious for this price point compared to other Hong Kong hotels.
Clean & Fresh: The towels and sofa were surprisingly new and spotlessly clean.
Excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserTwo of the rooms we booked had bugs. The front desk promptly sent someone to clean and disinfect them. The facilities are a bit old and run-down; one of the rooms had an old eyelid sticker left on a yellow cushion from a previous guest. The hotel staff in the lobby were very polite and proactively offered assistance, which is a big plus.
NNiSA183Five out of five stars! A mountain and sea sanctuary next to the city – Hong Kong Discovery Bay Hotel ✨
I highly recommend Hong Kong Discovery Bay Hotel! Away from the urban hustle and bustle, nestled between the mountains and sea of Lantau Island, checking in feels like stepping into a paradise. The vacation vibes are absolutely top-notch.
🌊 Rooms: Spacious views, incredibly thoughtful details
The sea view room we booked was a delightful surprise! The space is exceptionally generous for a Hong Kong hotel, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the turquoise sea and green mountains. Waking up to such a healing beautiful view is amazing. The bathroom features an oversized bathtub with a view, allowing you to relax while gazing at the ocean – an absolutely fantastic experience. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Daily housekeeping was meticulous, making for a very pleasant stay.
🌴 Environment and Facilities: Perfect for family fun and relaxation
The hotel boasts a serene environment with elegant garden landscaping, and right next door is the iconic waterfront White Chapel, perfect for stunning photos.
• Outdoor Pool: A 25-meter pool directly facing the sea, offering breathtaking sunset views in the evening.
• Free Shuttle Bus: Conveniently connects to Sunny Bay, Disneyland, Tung Chung, and other locations.
👩💼 Service: Warm, attentive, gentle, and thoughtful
The staff provided smiling service throughout, communicated smoothly in Mandarin, and check-in was efficient and swift. Any requests were handled incredibly quickly.
GGuest UserThe transportation is incredibly convenient, with a bus stop right downstairs that's just one stop away from Sha Tin town center. The view is excellent, but because there are many buses, the river-view rooms can get noisy from the buses moving around. The hygiene is standard, meeting typical 4-star hotel expectations. It includes breakfast, the rooms are spacious, and it offers great value for money.
DDongdongqiangqiangThe room isn't very big, especially the bed, which is quite short. The only difference between a king-size and twin beds is whether the two bases are pushed together or separated to form a 'king.' If you stretch out, your feet will hang off the end, so I'd guess the bed is only about 1.7 meters long. Also, the air conditioning is quite noisy; the central AC fan makes a fair bit of noise at night. The hotel's location is decent though, only a 5-10 minute walk from the subway exit.
