We stayed at East Lake Hotel, Tingtao 2#, for three nights in August 2025, it was great, highly recommend ! East Lake Hotel is known for its beautiful scenery, just as expected, the view was absolutely stunning, but what was better than the view was the best customer service. They assigned a staff member, Ms. Yu, to help us. Ms. Yu gave us her WeChat contact information so we can reach out easily. Ms. Yu was professional and courteous, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, any concern / issue we had, she handled it quickly, including helping out with the laundry! We stayed at other Five Star hotels in Wuhan, Beijing, and Shanghai, but no other hotel provided this level of service. The front desk was also very helpful. Last but not the least, their breakfast buffet was the best among the 6 hotels we stayed for this trip. Pros: Housekeeper Xizi was very attentive, and the staff on the 27th floor were very enthusiastic and thoughtful. Cons: 1. I booked two Executive Grand View King Rooms and informed the housekeeper beforehand to try and arrange them together. The housekeeper was very efficient and arranged it quickly, but they weren't on the Executive Floor. The two adjacent rooms were positioned one directly opposite the hallway and the other directly opposite the stairs, leading to frequent and loud slamming door noises from outside. (Where does 'Executive' come into play? Is it just the lounge access? Selling the room should be the priority, right?) See Picture 1. 2. Regarding the welcome fruit, see Picture 2. This is the most meager welcome I've ever seen. Are fruits that expensive this season? 3. Do products of this quality live up to the word 'luxury'? See Pictures 3, 4, and 5. 4. If the mini-bar isn't displayed openly, isn't this a bit of a trick? (Even though I didn't drink anything). See Pictures 6, 7, and 8. 5. From the moment I entered the hotel lobby, I barely saw any greetings or smiles. How come I didn't experience the warmth mentioned in so many reviews? 6. There were frequent thumping noises outside the window. I initially thought it was the wind, but there wasn't any wind at all. I don't know what caused it. Question: With this quality, this service, and this environment, how did it get such high ratings? Is this really the top luxury in Wuhan?

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Jianghan Guan is right at the doorstep, and turning right takes you straight to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street. It's also just a few minutes' walk to the Yangtze River Glory Pier. The hotel's decor has a lovely vintage feel to it. The hot dry noodles for breakfast were delicious too. There's a big set of stairs at the entrance, and the doorman was very proactive in helping with my luggage.

Checked into Jing Shan Tian Mu Hot Spring Hotel, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! The hotel boasts a wide variety of hot spring pools, and the public areas are elegantly designed. The private hot spring rooms are also perfect for a small gathering. Besides soaking in the springs, there are plenty of leisure activities nearby, making for a truly relaxing stay. The service team was incredibly responsive, always ready to assist with any requests, and the front desk staff even kindly recommended local eateries. The hotel's environment is serene, surrounded by lush greenery. We had such a pleasant and relaxing day here, and I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

The Christmas atmosphere was absolutely spot-on! Right as you walk in, you're greeted by exquisitely arranged floral displays. The whole environment feels upscale and chic, perfect for photos. The food was both visually stunning and delicious. That flower-shaped dessert was incredibly intricate, and the prawn pot was so flavorful I wanted to lick the shell clean! The cocktails were beautiful and tasted great too. The rooftop terrace offers amazing river and night views – so relaxing to chat up there with the breeze. The service was also very attentive. I'm already planning a second visit with friends!

The hotel is very clean, and the room is spacious with laundry facilities. The microwave and fridge are also perfect. Downstairs, there's a bus stop with direct routes to Yellow Crane Tower and Hankou Railway Station, and the metro station goes straight to Jianghan Road. It's perfectly located for getting around.

This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Wuhan, having visited three times. The day before check-in, I unexpectedly added an extra person, and the hotel's reservations department kindly upgraded our room type for free. When I left, I was in a rush and accidentally left a piece of luggage behind. I only realized it after arriving home. Jason Wu Jianjun from the concierge proactively called us and immediately helped us send the luggage back via SF Express. The front desk staff, the cleaning aunties, and the buffet service personnel were all incredibly warm and attentive. My stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I'll definitely bring my parents back when the cherry blossoms bloom in spring, and we'll be staying at the Hilton Wuhan Optics Valley again.

I made a special trip to Xianning to soak in the hot springs, the experience is very good! As soon as we arrived at the door, Aunt Tan Chunming enthusiastically took us to check in and put our luggage. It was also very pleasant to chat with us during the process of showing us the guest room. Sister Zou Yanxia upgraded the room type for us according to the situation of the remaining rooms, and told us how to eat and play around. The package includes unlimited hot springs, self-help fruit, fish spa, sea salt bath, Chinese medicine space capsule, and buffet breakfast during the stay, which basically meet the one-and-a-half-day play experience and food and accommodation needs. The hot spring has about 50 pools of various types. Even if it is 5.1, there are less than half of the pools that are empty. The experience is great. The quality of the self-service fruit and breakfast is very good. The oranges and cantaloupe are very sweet; the iced milk, various cakes, porridge, noodles and fruits in the self-service breakfast are all very good (after all, the original price is 68 per person). The room facilities are very new, and the quality of the shampoo and shower gel delivered is also very good. Most importantly, when you open the window, you feel like you are in the forest, with beautiful scenery and fresh air. A day of carefree soaking in soup and eating fruits made me realize the happiness of being in a paradise.

For our anniversary trip, we chose the Fairmont Wuhan and instantly fell in love – we're already planning a second visit! Ambassador Karina was incredibly attentive. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the CBD, offering a serene escape perfect for couples seeking some quiet time. The East-meets-West design is incredibly stylish, with a chic black and white theme throughout, complemented by emerald green furnishings in the lobby bar. Every photo you take here turns out to be a stunning, atmospheric shot – ladies, you will absolutely adore it.

What a positive experience! From check-in with friendly and helpful Zhou Zhou and her colleagues to the room support and also the free self-serve laundry!! Excellent twin room with a spectacular view of the Yangtze - benefiting from a corner room - amazing. Loved the quality of the room contents - free snacks, good tea, nice bathrobes and quality linens. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Also high tech - I think if we knew mandarin we could have used all the room gadgets ! Nice TV - all Chinese. Lovely Chinese breakfast with wonderful views of the river. Good delicious food. Overall a 5 star experience! We will be back if we pass thru Yichang again. The location is fantastic - across from exquisite gardens and river-side walkways. Close to the Wanda mall. Highly recommended!!!
