Arrived at the hotel at 11 AM and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, helping us check in early and even upgrading us to a business room. The room wasn't huge, but the layout was very efficient, with distinct areas for the bathroom, sleeping, and a small living space. Everything was spotless and comfortable. The hotel's location is super convenient for transport. It's right next to the Sands Hotel, and just a short walk to catch a bus from Sands directly to The Venetian, The Londoner, and The Parisian. Lotus Square is right next to the hotel, and behind it is Macau Polytechnic University. If you want to visit the Ruins of St. Paul's, it's about a twenty-minute walk. Fisherman's Wharf is directly opposite the hotel, and there's a bus stop right on the side of the hotel, making getting around incredibly easy. For this price, given the location and the hotel's quality, I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Macau.

Hotels in Taipa,Macau

This hotel is underrated! It's located in the heart of Taipa, Macau, in a residential area. Even though it's not on the Cotai Strip, that's actually a good thing – fewer mainland Chinese tourists and the staff can focus more on providing excellent service. We informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating our anniversary, and they surprised us with a bottle of red wine and room decorations. This time, we took a taxi from the Taipa Ferry Terminal, and it only took 10 minutes and cost 40 MOP. You absolutely *must* book a room with breakfast included; eating breakfast while enjoying the stunning view is incredibly relaxing! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Macau!

After getting off the shuttle from Wynn Macau, it's about a ten-minute walk to the hotel. The place is very clean and much larger than hotels in Hong Kong. The bedding, towels, and toothbrushes are all disposable. You can also store your luggage. Overall, I'm very satisfied; it's great value for money. It's not far to walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's, Grand Lisboa, and Wynn. After all, the Macau Peninsula isn't that big, haha.

This was my second stay, and what a difference! This time around, I was really impressed. The front desk staff were proactively helpful and had a great attitude, which was a huge improvement from my last visit. The room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities weren't outdated. The location is excellent if you know your way around – Marina Bay Sands is just across the road, and the dining options at the hotel are a pleasant surprise. The buffet, especially, was such good value for money. I'll definitely be staying here again.

The lobby was clean and well-maintained. The room was great, probably newly renovated, with no strange smells and modern fixtures. The bathroom had all the necessary facilities but felt a bit basic. The shower, toilet, and sink area had a wet/dry separation, but the shower curtain and glass door weren't very practical and seemed a bit untidy. The power outlets were universal, like those in mainland China, and toiletries were provided, so there's no need to bring your own. On the first day of our stay, the mini-bar was complimentary, and it had a good selection of drinks. However, we didn't see any small complimentary gifts, even though we had a child with us. The hotel is located on a hillside, so walking might be a bit tiring. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel with a direct route from the Border Gate. While the shuttle service takes a bit longer, it's quite convenient for round trips.

I still prefer staying in the city center over Taipa, and the room rates are better too. Overall, my experience at this hotel was quite good [rose emoji]. Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Room: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Breakfast: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amenities: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value for money: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall, the location is very convenient, the views are beautiful, and the room hygiene and hotel facilities are perfectly fine. Breakfast was a little ordinary, but that's a minor detail I can overlook. The overall value for money is good.

This is my second stay at the hotel. The hotel has nice Portuguese style architecture and a really relaxing atmosphere in the entrance hall. There is a nice view. I previously enjoyed my stay enough, in particular due to the exquisite bathtub, to return a second time. Little did I know that only one room has that beautiful bath tub and I was just extremely lucky on my first stay. My room this time was fine, but it just wasn’t as nice as my first stay. There was mold in the bathtub in a few places showing that the cleanliness is just standard, but not up to par for a 5 star hotel in my opinion. Macau is hot so it’seasy to have mold. Thorough cleaning is really important. In addition, because it is an older building, there are some little spiders and other little bugs in the rooms sometimes. Not any scary bugs, but still just a point. The hotel location is in a quiet area and near a bus stop. However, there are no convenience stores in the surrounding area (closest is a 15 minute walk) and the hotel does not provide many options to make up for this. The first time I stayed here I arrived at 9 pm and wasn’t even able to eat at the restaurant in the hotel. It seemed like a joke. In addition to that, there are not many restaurants open later thanthat in the area as well. So, I don’t recommend booking this hotel if you will need to eat later on in the evening. The staff is generally helpful but were never able to solve any problems I had completely. Personally, I think it is worth coming to the location to check out the architecture and design. There is a restaurant so you could come to eat a meal and enjoy those nice perks without staying in the hotel. I think I would come to the restaurant in the future, but I will most likely not return for another stay.

Hotels in Coloane,Macau

The hotel's biggest draw is its location – situated on the southern coast of Coloane, it's a real hidden gem, completely removed from Macau's glitz, glamour, and noise. Every room also offers a fantastic sea view experience. Breakfast is mostly Western, but quite varied, and the omelets are especially delicious. The front desk is on the top floor, so you actually go down to your room, which gives it the charming feel of a small boutique hotel abroad. The only minor downside is that some of the facilities are a bit old and possibly a little worn out. A renovation would be a good idea if possible.

I booked a premium king room with executive benefits. This hotel no longer has a casino, so there's no complimentary shuttle service. Since my booking included executive benefits, I received complimentary afternoon tea and a dinner set. If you want to upgrade to the dinner buffet, it's an extra 100 RMB per person, which is still worth it. The room itself was decent, and the size was quite good – much larger than the tiny 'pigeonhole' hotels I've stayed at in Hong Kong. The decor is a bit dated, but the French-style design gives it a nice feel. The gym is on the first floor next to the pool and is also a good size. Zhuhai is right across the river, offering a pleasant view. From the hotel, you can take a bus directly to Gongbei Port. The Grand Lisboa Casino is about a 20-minute walk away. The hotel's breakfast is very rich with a good variety of options, and the service is excellent, including dedicated Chinese-speaking staff. There's a designated smoking area by the pool, outside the first-floor restaurant. Welcome fruit and capsule coffee makers add to the overall sense of quality and ambiance.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's right across from the airport, which has its own shuttle service, and the monorail station is next door, making it super easy to get around and explore. We had a sea-view room, and it felt much less crowded and busy compared to the casino areas. If you do want to go to the casinos, the hotel staff are very helpful. Overall, it's excellent value for money!
