Ocean View Hotels in Shandong, China

This was the warmest trip ever! We chose this hotel for my child's birthday. The overall environment and service were top-notch, especially Judy and Sally. After I casually mentioned it was my child's birthday, they proactively prepared a birthday cake. The service was fantastic! Next time we visit Rizhao, Sheraton will definitely be our first choice. The service, environment, and scenery are all perfect, especially the executive room which faces the sea directly. My child was super excited!

This hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of May Fourth Square. It's just a 10-minute walk to MixC shopping mall, and popular attractions like Zhanqiao Pier, the Underwater World, and the Olympic Sailing Center are all easily accessible. The rooms are spacious with a well-designed layout, good natural light, and effective soundproofing, making for an overall comfortable and pleasant stay. The only hiccup occurred on the day of departure – my room door seemed to have accidentally locked itself when I returned, and my electronic key card stopped working. Although I called the front desk immediately, the response after verifying my information wasn't quick, and the wait to get the door open felt a bit long. I eventually had to go downstairs to sort it out in person. Luckily, I didn't miss my high-speed train. I'd suggest the hotel optimize its emergency response mechanism, especially strengthening staff deployment for room services during peak hours and improving access control system inspections.

I bought a voucher for the Qingdao Haitian Hotel, and it offered great value for money. The front desk proactively upgraded me to a sea-view room on the 31st floor, which had a fantastic view. The bellboy was enthusiastic and helped with my luggage. The WeChat concierge provided information on dining and public areas and even gave me a small gift, demonstrating very attentive service, although perhaps a little *too* enthusiastic. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich, with specialties like freshly-made wontons. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for walks along the seaside. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

This is my umpteenth time visiting Yantai, and this time I snagged a special deal for the Pullman. The location is absolutely top-notch, right in the heart of Yantai city center. The famous Suochengli is just downstairs. The front desk staff (a woman with glasses, I think her surname was Yu, I glanced at her name tag but can't quite recall now, haha 😂) even upgraded us to a sea-view room for free. Before we left, she gave us a Yantai fridge magnet, really going above and beyond with the service details. The room's hardware was pretty much as pictured, with expansive views and no noticeable dirt (a few mud splatters on the exterior window glass are an unavoidable hardware issue, easily negligible for me). Soundproofing was also good (no issues with being woken up by other rooms in the middle of the night, though I'm not overly sensitive to noise, so this is based on a normal perspective). Overall, the room was great. I didn't book breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on the in-house dining, but it's super convenient to find food nearby. I even went with my local Yantai friends to try authentic Penglai noodles nearby. Whether it's your first time or a repeat visit, I highly recommend choosing this hotel in Yantai (at least the off-season price is truly a steal, offering incredible value for money). P.S.: This hotel genuinely has a lot of international guests; I constantly saw Koreans, Russians, and other Eastern European faces 😂

I was on a business trip and decided to extend my stay for a few days to explore Weihai. All my plans went out the window once I met a local Didi driver, and I have to say, the itinerary and recommendations he gave me were absolutely perfect! As for the hotel, the front desk service, room service, breakfast and dinner buffets, location, room itself, and the view from the window were all genuinely excellent! The 'big picture frame' photos I took from my room were even better than the ones I took on-site. 🤭

The service was attentive and thorough, the room was clean and comfortable, the environment was elegant and quiet, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained. The location was also very convenient. Overall, the stay was excellent, and I will definitely choose this place again next time!

This is the only hotel in the city center with direct beach access, boasting an excellent location. There are plenty of food delivery options nearby. The hotel also has direct access to the beach, so you wake up to the sound of waves every day. The pool is very clean and even has a kids' pool. Our butler, Sheila, provided excellent service, always responsive to our requests. The cleaning staff also did a great job every day. Overall, a fantastic experience! We'll definitely stay at Hyatt Regency Qingdao again on our next visit.

The hotel is very close to Hongkou 1920. However, upon check-in, the front desk gave me a room at the end of the hallway, which I was very unhappy about. It wasn't even peak season, so why couldn't they ask if I preferred a room near or away from the elevator? I had to drag my tired body and heavy luggage downstairs to switch rooms at past 11 PM. The next day, I needed to mail something, but the delivery person wasn't allowed upstairs, so I had to go downstairs myself (and switch two elevators...). Since my flight was at 5 PM, I called to ask for a late check-out. I'd like to praise them for agreeing to my request. Are the lights in the lobby designed to look like sea cucumbers?

Essentially an apartment, but with hotel-style management and excellent service. The cleanliness was a pleasant surprise; I hardly found any dirty spots, and the linens were spotless. The view is absolutely stunning, with three floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom all facing the ocean directly. The room's facilities are a bit dated, though, and there's no smart home control system. The decor feels like it's from a decade ago.

Overall, it's a good value for money. The breakfast generally met my needs, and the location is excellent. The front desk staff were also very friendly. However, there were two issues. First, I found a lot of long hair from previous guests on the bedding, which the hotel clearly hadn't cleaned properly. I cleaned it myself, too lazy to bring it up with them. Second, the coffee machine in the restaurant was broken and no one bothered to fix it, essentially making it a decoration. If you're going to have a coffee machine, it should be functional. It was quite frustrating not being able to get coffee in the morning. I hope the hotel improves on these points. Despite these issues, I would still recommend the hotel overall!
