Ocean View Hotels in Shandong, China

My stay here exceeded all expectations! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center, and just a few minutes' walk to the subway. I booked a room with a view, and the sea view from the window was breathtaking, especially at night. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; despite being in a bustling area, it was completely quiet with the windows closed. Downstairs, there's a commercial district with everything you could ask for in terms of food, entertainment, and shopping. Both the front desk and room service were very prompt. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting; it's so convenient for getting around, and the view alone is worth the price of the room.

The room was grand and spacious, with a charming antique feel. It was spotlessly clean and free of any strange odors. The mattress had just the right firmness for a comfortable night's sleep, and the high-thread-count bedding felt incredibly soft against the skin. The breakfast spread was extensive and the views were stunning! Traveling with our 7-month-old baby, the hotel even provided a bed rail, which was incredibly thoughtful!

Check-in was a breeze with just my Trip.com booking code, and it suddenly reminds me of the twisted donuts at the check-in counter! The staff always greet you with a smile, and the housekeeping ladies are genuinely friendly too! The room is really spacious, and there's plenty of hot water. Seriously, you'll regret not staying here for your Qingdao trip! I'd definitely choose Haiyi International Apartment again 👍

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from Suochengli, next to Wanda Plaza, and within walking distance of Chaoyang Street and Yantai Mountain. The lobby maintains the typical Pullman style. However, the room was a bit disappointing; it seems dated and feels old-fashioned overall, with rather dim lighting. When I inquired about other matters at the front desk, Alice Sun assisted me. After hearing my request, she patiently searched for a suitable room again and again until she found one that met my needs and upgraded my room. Although I wasn't entirely satisfied with the room, the exceptional service more than made up for the outdated facilities. I would still choose Pullman for future trips.

Chose the Sheraton for my vacation in Rizhao, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel's location is superb, right next to Wanpingkou, making it super convenient to stroll along the beach. Check-in was efficient and thoughtful, and the front desk staff were warm and polite. My sea-view room had an amazing view, with the balcony directly facing the sea and floor-to-ceiling windows providing excellent natural light. Waking up to watch the sunrise and enjoying the sunset in the evening created such a wonderful atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean, with meticulous housekeeping. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the mattress was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, fully equipped, and taking a bath was very relaxing. The hotel facilities are excellent; the gym and pool are great for unwinding, and the breakfast spread is rich, with plenty of Chinese and Western options and fresh ingredients. The overall service was professional and attentive. It's perfect whether you're looking for a relaxing beach getaway or a short trip. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Rizhao. Highly recommended!

The room was great, and the host was really lovely. We cooked our own meals, and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and everything we needed. The view was also fantastic – you could see the ocean right from the window, and May Fourth Square too. Plus, dining options nearby were super convenient. Big thumbs up! I stumbled upon this hotel with a floor-to-ceiling sea-view window room online and immediately fell in love with it. So, I took advantage of the three-day Qingming Festival holiday to visit Weihai. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and the actual experience was fantastic! From the hotel's **exterior**, it felt like an older four-star, but once I entered the lobby, the overall impression was very neat, clean, and bright. You could tell that the hotel put effort into maintaining its facilities. The staff were also very enthusiastic, even calling a day in advance to confirm my itinerary and preferences. The **service** was excellent. Since I arrived quite late on the first night, after 10:00 PM in Weihai, I booked a **standard king room** for the first night. It offered a street view, not the sea. The room was quiet and very clean, perfect for a good night's rest. On the second day, around 9:00 AM, we moved to the sea-view room I had been looking forward to. I booked the **Deluxe Sea View Terrace King Room**. The room was still very clean and quiet. The interior decoration was on par with a five-star hotel (though the walls were a bit patchy and could use a repaint). Upon entering, there was a bathtub, and then the super large floor-to-ceiling window and terrace came into view. In front of the window, there was a soft sofa, which was incredibly comfortable and relaxing for drinking tea or coffee – it just made me so happy. The view from the terrace was also stunning; the sea was very clear on sunny days. In the evening, you could watch the sunset from the room. What could be more romantic than that? The **breakfast** restaurant was a sea-view restaurant with a huge floor-to-ceiling window. Outside, there was a trestle bridge, the sea, and seagulls – the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast selection wasn't super extensive, but it covered most Chinese breakfast essentials, and the taste was good. For a four-star hotel, it was really impressive. The **location** is in Huancui District, not far from attractions like Torch 8th Street. There are also many good restaurants nearby. Downstairs are Jinshatan Beach and the Jinhaiwan Trestle Bridge, where many seagulls hover. The hotel has an elevator that goes directly to the beach, and guests are given an exclusive wristband. For families with children who want to play in the water during summer, it's very convenient – you can go straight back to your room via the elevator to wash up after playing. Overall, the accommodation experience was excellent! Full marks, highly recommended!

This Atour, opened in 2026, boasts an excellent location, close to Yantai Mountain and Chaoyang Street, with many great restaurants nearby (I recommend Wangjiao Fishermen's Village, just an 8-minute walk away). The price is comparable to some of the older five-star hotels in the city center. They even gave a sand-digging toy for our baby. Room: The room was spacious with a suite-like layout. On the non-sea-facing side, there's a bank building. The room amenities were very new. The mini-bar in the Executive Twin Room only had mineral water. Breakfast: Maintained Atour's usual high standard. The mackerel dumplings and stewed noodles were delicious! There was also seafood among the hot dishes, and the staff working at the breakfast station had excellent service attitudes. Housekeeping: Water stains on the table weren't cleaned properly, and the shower gel wasn't refilled even when it was empty. I reported it to the front desk, and the lady there apologized sincerely. Overall, the location, facilities, and breakfast are all good, but the service could use some improvement.

This was my first time staying at the Hilton in Yantai. The hotel is centrally located with convenient transportation, and you get stunning sea views. On our second night, due to some special circumstances, we had to switch rooms in the middle of the night, which really disrupted our sleep and put a damper on our mood. The next morning, the hotel's front office manager, Tongtong, was waiting at our door to apologize for the previous night. She personally helped us rearrange our room for the next two days and even prepared a small gift for us. She was so responsible and thoughtful. Her actions and attitude were so impressive that they changed our plans to move to another hotel. I really want to commend the hotel's lobby manager. I'm someone who never usually leaves reviews, good or bad, but this is my honest and genuine feedback!

Our weekend stay exceeded expectations! Elly from Guest Relations was incredibly responsive. I had a last-minute request for amenities at night, and she replied quickly and arranged for them to be delivered right away. The room's hardware is well-maintained; the furniture, appliances, and shower facilities were all in perfect condition, with an elegant and comfortable color scheme. The sky pool had an amazing ambiance, with unique dome lighting paired with turquoise water, making for stunning views and great photo opportunities. The gym had impressive high ceilings and an organized layout, with a wide range of equipment. Facing the mountains and sea through floor-to-ceiling windows, it offered a luxurious and comfortable environment for working out.
