This hotel is located in the heart of Adelaide, South Australia's capital. While it's not a five-star, it's definitely a top-tier four-star. The location is excellent, with a McDonald's right across the street and major supermarkets like Coles nearby. It offers fantastic value for money, especially during holidays. There's also a gym and a swimming pool on the first floor of the hotel.
Good location in town center, close to restaurants and beach. Can park the car in front of the door. Very clean. Super friendly service! We arrived a bit late, staff already left but gave clear instructions how to find the room and when we came in the heater was already on. Felt warmly welcomed.

I had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. I particularly appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made for a restful night. Location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. I love the indoor pool and spa but need more time to stay specially when an event finish a bit late and need time to relax in there.
The breakfast is a set menu, the view of the lake is excellent, and the view from the terrace is also very wide. In the morning, you can see many boys and girls practicing rowing 🚣, btw, the sound insulation of the glass is also very good, so you won’t be disturbed by the outside world, but if you live next door With a loud voice, you can hear what they are talking about.
We arrived on a very hot day and the air-con was already on, which is a big plus. Although the room is rather basic, it is very clean and the bed comfortable. Location at Nuriootpa is central for visiting different places in Barossa.

As I was going to be leaving from the Parklands Train Terminal early in the morning this hotel was perfectly situated for my trip. Although I wasn't at the hotel for very long only about 12hrs overnight it was a good location and the room faced the parking so meant it was quieter as well and didn't get the hot afternoon sun either. I would say though there was no pricelist I could find for the mini-bar, not that I used it was only thinking of grabbing some cold water that was in the fridge. The one thing I wasn't a fan was the spa tub/shower combo. The jets need a serious clean all around them but then even standing in it meant anyone tall as in 6'5” plus may have to bend down. I would think they should rip out the spa tub and put in a nicer rain shower shower stall instead maybe just provide spa tubs in rooms that you can also put a shower stall into.
I'd stay here again mainly for the location as it's also right across the street from the big park area which was fantastic to walk around on a warm evening after dinner at the pub up the street.
The hotel is next to the Tanunda Pines Golf Course, essentially on the same ground within walking distance from the hotel reception. If I had known that prior to checking in I would have booked the course for a quick round - totally my own fault. Pity. But I did get to enjoy Novotel's tennis court and got a quick sweat session with my husband which was very nice before attending my friend's wedding nearby. The hotel is centrally located in Barossa Valley and the hotel has good facilities. Great choice for vacation in this region.
The room was clean and tidy, and the yard was beautiful and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and nutritious! It was fun to chat with other guests in the restaurant at breakfast.

The hotel overall is nice and clean. The location is good and close to the city centre, however one of the conciege staff named Christopher is absolutely impolite and rude. We just parked our car in front of the spacious area for 10 mins only without blocking the road, and he told us straight away we can't park there. He should be more polite and ask us why we park there first but not starting off saying we can't park here without knowing the reason behind. He definitely needs to learn how to serve customer in a more nice and polite way.

GGuest UserThe receptionist didn't check who I was and didn't disclose the hotel room number when I told her that my partner has already checked in and I had paid for the hotel room. They don't provide a spare key when 2 adults are staying in 1 room. The amenities were decent however they need to have their signs laminated for DO NOT DISTURB or for HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE as I couldn't put the sign on the door knob because it's made out of cardboard. I could hear mobile notification noises from the room next door throughout the early morning which is annoying, there should be a sign about that. Other than that, the amenities were functional and easy to use, the bed was comfortable for me to sleep in after 20 hour flight and easy to get to. The check out reception were great.
GGuest UserNice apartment with King size bed. Balcony is awesome with city view. Near to bus stop and grocery store. Close to Hindler Street which is happening part of Adelaide CBD
RR ANIt's a domestic four-star hotel. The foreign man at the front desk has very poor service! He didn't even give me water! I've never seen anything like this! Bath salts cost 10 Australian dollars, and there were no toothbrushes or cotton pads! Breakfast was a single order! There was a Malaysian girl at the front desk who was very nice.

TTim SchroederThe Wine Vine has recently been taken over and renovated, previously it may have been known as the Barossa Hotel. There are 40 rooms and it is situated neatly along with everything else on Murray Street in Tanunda.
Slightly concealed below the large bench in the Reception area was Prahb, the General Manager; she was very welcoming and open to feedback.
The room itself was large, fairly standard but had most things you need for a short stay. We found it to be clean and quite comfortable. The bed was a little firm for my liking, and the pillows were thin - it may pay to bring your own if you are particular about this.
The shower room was probably double the size of a 'generous' alcove. This room needed some painting finished, a ceiling fan and some more hooks or shelves installed.
I booked our stay through a travel website and obtained a fantastic deal; we definitely felt we got good value for money. I'd recommend this as a nice little place to stay and an easy place to tour some of the many things the Barossa Valley has to offer.
