The service was excellent, and the facilities and environment were great. They provided bottled water daily and offered local tour guides and recommendations. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There's also an outdoor pool with beautiful surroundings, and attractions are nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. We originally booked for just one night but ended up staying for three because we enjoyed our stay so much. The rooms are amazing — spacious, beautifully maintained and extremely comfortable, making it a very relaxing place to stay. The staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and responsive, particularly via WeChat, which made communication very easy throughout our stay. The facilities are excellent, including the SPA. The SPA is very good quality and, especially considering the standard of the facilities and service, is very reasonably priced. The restaurant is also very good, with delicious food at very reasonable prices for dinner. The views from the restaurant are amazing and make for a particularly enjoyable evening. Overall, we were extremely impressed with our stay and would happily recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast buffet offers great quality, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles taste superb 🍜. A good breakfast sets you up perfectly for the day ahead. Located by the Li River, with smooth access to the underground parking. It's also very close to the commercial district, making dining and getting around super convenient. Again, the rooms are clean and tidy with great attention to detail. The breakfast buffet is high quality, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles are truly delicious.

Five-star review | Family stay experience at Sugar House Yangshuo ✨ Our family of three chose Sugar House for our trip, and the overall experience was perfect, highly recommended for families with kids! The hotel, a renovated old sugar mill, blends industrial architecture with the stunning Guilin landscape, creating an incredible atmosphere where every photo looks like a masterpiece. The room was spacious and clean, with a great view from the balcony. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, responding quickly to any issues. We even received complimentary welcome fruit upon check-in – the attention to detail was excellent. I have to rave about the two activities our child loved the most! The infinity pool had clean water and was backed by the karst mountains, making splashing around incredibly fun. Adults could also relax and enjoy the scenery. Then there was the delightful 'hanging basket snack' activity: when the rattle drum sounded, we'd lower the bamboo basket from our balcony and receive a basket full of snacks. Our child absolutely loved it and was always excited for this part, which felt fresh and new every time. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were authentic and delicious. The hotel's public areas were beautiful, and there were several family-friendly activities, so we didn't need to go far to have a fulfilling time. It truly felt like a vacation, and I highly recommend it for families. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel also allows children to try on ethnic minority costumes, which makes for fun photos. The location in the ASEAN Business District is convenient for getting around and finding food. It's only a ten-minute walk to Vientiane City. If you're bringing kids to Nanning and want a place with a great atmosphere and hassle-free stay, this hotel is highly recommended. We stayed on a high floor and didn't even draw the curtains at night, falling asleep to the city lights. The rainy and foggy weather made the experience even more atmospheric~

Better maintained than I expected! I was initially hesitant to book, fearing the hotel might be old, but a 5-star is a 5-star. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Parking is convenient, and the location is great with everything you need nearby. The hotel's front desk is even a popular spot for photos! I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance; it offers great value for money. Plus, the best Thai milk tea is right nearby—it couldn't be more perfect!

Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were delicious. Some facilities are a bit dated, but it didn't detract from our vacation. We didn't even need to leave the hotel to keep our child entertained. Our child still talks about the peacocks, so I highly recommend this for families with kids.

This room was fantastic for our family! It's super close to West Street and parking was very convenient. The hotel has a lot of entertainment facilities, we didn't even have enough time to try them all, especially since the service was excellent. First time staying here, and overall it was a great experience. The fish recommended by the hotel was delicious too!

The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip.
