Facilities: The hotel's facilities are superb! The bedding in the room is comfortable, the toiletries are complete and of great quality, and basic amenities like air conditioning and hot water run smoothly. The smart room control system is also very convenient to use. In the public areas, the fitness and lounge areas are well-equipped with brand new and well-maintained equipment, and the public area hygiene is also exceptionally good. Service: This stay was fantastic, and I must highlight Minnie and George Chai at the front desk for their exceptionally professional and attentive service. Check-in and check-out were super efficient, they were smiling throughout, and patiently explained the hotel facilities and provided tips for local attractions and dining. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every detail. Any questions we had were answered instantly, and their attitude was gentle and considerate, adding so much warmth to our trip. Their excellent service truly made our entire stay perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and commend Minnie and George Chai for their outstanding service!

When we first arrived we wondered if we had made a mistake and booked a hotel in the wrong location! But no, it turned out to be just wonderful! The huge window gave us a wonderful view and the old town was a short lively walk straight down the hill. The only problem we had was when we had to leave early on the morning. We were locked in and couldn't phone anyone to come and unlick the door. This is also a fire hazard. Anyhow if they could work out a better system it would be perfect.

The Hyatt Regency Lijiang was an absolute hidden gem on my trip! 🥰 The room was cozy and elegant, with all the amenities you could wish for, and stunning views of Lijiang right outside the window. The hotel's pool felt like a sapphire embedded in the earth – perfect for a refreshing swim. The staff's service was incredibly thoughtful and made me feel so welcome. Davina at the front desk was especially warm and efficient, handling check-in super quickly. There are tons of great food options nearby, and getting around is really convenient. Plus, the hotel has so many adorable animals – black swans, alpacas, goats, ponies, and even miniature pigs! I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Lijiang!

This is a really unique design hotel. The owner is a cheerful Singaporean lady. The breakfast is delicious, especially the Zajiang rice noodles – light, fresh, sweet, with a subtle numbing spice. The cleanliness and service are excellent; all the staff, from the younger women to the older ladies, were incredibly warm and friendly. There are also many special activities, both free and paid. Because it's an old Naxi house, the soundproofing might not be as good as modern hotels, but we didn't hear any noise during our stay as the other guests were very quiet. The only thing that could be improved is that the mattress in the king room could be a bit softer, haha.

Room is clean, amenities is ok. We requested for non-smoking room but was given a room with very heavy cigarette smell and had to request for change of room. Our room is located at level 5, the room can hear noise from vehicles very clearly. 6 something on a weekday morning we can hear car honking which is very disturbing. Window and curtain soundproofing are not good enough. Breakfast selection is ok

Green Lake Hotel: A Perfect 5-Star Stay in Kunming! Of all the highlights of my trip to Kunming, the Green Lake Hotel was by far the most pleasant surprise and the most satisfying. I'm quite picky when it comes to hotel choices, and before booking, I debated for a long time. I was especially worried that an older, established hotel might have outdated facilities or be poorly maintained, fearing it would impact my travel experience. However, once I checked in, all my worries and concerns completely vanished – the entire stay exceeded my expectations in the most amazing way. Even though it's a classic, long-standing state guesthouse, the hotel's facilities are impeccably maintained, and the cleanliness is absolutely flawless. Everywhere was spotless, tidy, and high-quality. Age hasn't brought a sense of decay; instead, it has created an elegant, 'old money' style that is understated yet luxurious, dignified yet comfortable. It completely changed my preconceived notions about older hotels. The service level certainly lives up to the guesthouse's venerable reputation. Throughout my stay, the staff were attentive, thoughtful, professional, and courteous. Their attitude was warm and polite, striking the perfect balance – meticulous without being intrusive. This truly showcased the depth and refinement of a high-end hotel, and the experience was absolutely top-notch. What truly impressed me were the thoughtful details everywhere. From the lobby to the guest rooms, there were beautifully arranged fresh floral displays. In an era where cost-cutting and efficiency are often prioritized, the hotel still maintains such a high standard of aesthetics and sincerity. This commitment and dedication are truly commendable and rare. The location is simply perfect, the absolute core of Kunming. Stepping out, you're right by the stunning Green Lake, making walks and sightseeing incredibly convenient. There are numerous attractions nearby, making travel and exploration highly efficient. Additionally, the area boasts many unique shops and charming cafes, making dining and browsing easy. It's both a tranquil retreat and full of local life – perfect for sightseeing, leisure, and exploring. In summary, the Green Lake Hotel is impeccable in every aspect – hardware, service, details, and location. It is undoubtedly the best choice for a trip to Kunming, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

The room was spotless, and the bedding was very clean. I'd especially like to commend the front desk young lady for her excellent service. She really considered my needs. Since I was staying at the hotel to catch an early flight, she helped arrange a very quiet room. In the morning, she even called to remind me about the shuttle bus schedule. It's a shame I didn't have time to try breakfast. I'll definitely choose Chenji again if I have the chance next time.

Facilities: Good. The in-room facilities are well-maintained, doesn't feel like a hotel that's over a decade old. Hygiene: Good. Stayed for two days without any discomfort like allergies. Environment: Beautiful. You can see Erhai Lake, and it's within walking distance to some restaurants and coffee shops. Service: Excellent! 👍 The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helped us resolve various small issues. We felt really warmed by their service.

The room layout is great, allowing you to enjoy a cup of tea while overlooking Erhai Lake. We encountered tidal flow lanes (5:30 PM - 6:45 PM) on our way to the hotel. We called the hotel directly and added Diana, a staff member, on WeChat. She guided us to the hotel very accurately and even recommended local Dali food and travel routes, saving us a lot of trouble. The underground parking is also excellent. This is a reputable hotel, and its quality is trustworthy. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Dali.

HheeheebotMy family and I spent 3 nights at Banyan Tree Lijiang. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The premises are beautiful and all the staff are very friendly. We stayed in the two bedroom villa which was spacious for the four of us. Some of the hotel facilities are dated but the staff accommodated our requests well. One note is there is an outdoor bath in the villa; however, we later found out it does not work, which was a disappointment. Nonetheless, the hotel offers a lot of complimentary activities which was an added plus. We enjoyed the tennis court, paper making activity and walking around the resort. The costume photography was also a highlight. Special thank you to 琴琴 in the photography shop who helped us select our photos. We arrived near closing time but she was patient and friendly as we chose from so many good photos from the day! We also booked a tour of Yulong Snow Mountain through the hotel. Our guide William was amazing - accommodating our preferences and with such a bright personality. He knew all the good spots! We spent our last night at the Banyan Tree Spa. We booked in advance and it was the perfect way to end our trip. Big thank you to Karen Yue at the reception, who went the extra mile to arrange our reservation so that we could get the treatment all together. A very kind and professional staff member. Overall, would recommend and come back!

GGuest UserThe room facing the street was quite quiet, which was nice. The front desk has a coffee machine, and you can ask the staff to prepare drinks for you as needed. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and proactively offered us travel advice. Parking allows one exit within a 24-hour period, so plan your outings accordingly. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Old Town Windmill, maybe because I walk a bit slowly, but it's definitely not just a few minutes away. The room is equipped with smart home features, and the quality of items like tissues is quite good, showing that the owner has high standards for the amenities provided.

BBingbingle、The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking. The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed. The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

GGuest UserI booked a special offer room for 3 days, and the owner was super enthusiastic, upgrading our room directly. The best part? It had a full-length mirror! Out of the four B&Bs we stayed at in Yunnan, this was the only one that had one 😂. The room came with a terrace offering beautiful night views of the ancient city and mountains. It's also very close to the old town, with shared bikes right outside the door, so you can just cycle there if you don't feel like walking. Breakfast was included, but we slept in late every day and never got to try it. The owner proactively asked if we needed pick-up from the station or airport. Since we arrived by bus, we didn't need it. There's a small tricycle available to help with luggage, or if you're tired from walking at night, you can call the owner to pick you up at the uphill intersection. When we left, they arranged a complimentary drop-off at the airport. The owner is incredibly warm and thoughtful, helping with our luggage the whole time and even invited us to eat hotpot with them, giving us tips on where to go. Finally! In my rush, I carelessly forgot my most important camera 😭😭. I contacted the owner, and they immediately responded and arranged to mail it to me. So grateful!

GGuest UserThis is our third stay here, and my child absolutely loves it. The service is excellent, and the hotel is clean and hygienic. The à la carte dishes at 'A Cloud' restaurant are delicious – I highly recommend it to everyone! We'll definitely be back for future short breaks. This time, we booked the family suite with two bedrooms, and it was fantastic. It's truly the best value-for-money family room we've ever stayed in.

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed. First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs. The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options. A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests. A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level. Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

GGuest UserService: The service at White House was the best I experienced on my Yunnan trip, even better than Hyatt's meticulous and attentive service. They offer free laundry and drying, and breakfast can be delivered to your room. There are also complimentary evening drinks. Whenever you leave, they ask where you're going and offer free taxi service (to the three ancient towns). Upon check-in, each room receives a thoughtful gift box containing items like face masks, contact lens solution, glasses cases, and breath freshener. I hope the owner can upgrade the quality of these gifts; with such excellent service, I'd love to see the hotel's overall quality improve further. Environment: Every room faces Jade Dragon Snow Mountain directly, offering an excellent viewing experience. Facilities: I tried two room types this time. The ventilation system in this particular room type wasn't great. Since it's above the cafe, there was a strong smell when I opened the bathroom and room doors. This seems like a construction issue that's hard to change later. Both room types I stayed in had poor soundproofing. Early in the morning, I could hear people chattering by the lake downstairs, taking photos of the snow mountain, and in the hallway, I could hear doors closing, people walking, and talking from other rooms. Hygine: During my stay, one bath towel was dirty, but the service staff replaced it immediately. Overall, this hotel is quite good. However, the price I paid for the first night on the platform was over 1900, and for that price, the quality felt insufficient. At their regular prices, these issues would be less significant. I sincerely hope the hotel's business thrives. Many things require time and refinement. While the hard facilities can't be changed, there's still room for improvement in the soft facilities.

CChristy.lllA Naxi haven by the ancient city, so beautiful it leaves you speechless. **Pros**: This is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in during my visits to Lijiang! It's located by the south gate of the Old Town, offering a peaceful retreat despite being close to the hustle and bustle. The entire hotel is a sprawling Naxi garden, with white walls, black tiles, flowing streams, and lush flora. Every step reveals a new scenic view, and every photo turns out stunning. The lobby's floor-to-ceiling windows even offer distant views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – the vista is absolutely incredible. The rooms are spacious and elegant. I especially want to commend Miss Claire! Her service was incredibly attentive, warm, and professional. She anticipated our needs, fulfilled every request, and thought of every detail, making us feel completely at home. Truly fantastic! **Cons**: The hotel has been open for a while, so some of the facilities are a bit dated, and the toilets aren't smart ones. **Summary**: All in all, great service, beautiful environment, perfect for photos, but the facilities are a bit old.
