Ferrycarrig Hotel

This hotel has a lovely vibrant energy, friendly staff, a good gym and leisure centre, and access to parking. If planning on staying here it might be important to know that Reeds restaurant can only be accessed via package deal (slightly disappointing), however the bar offers good food to all guests. Unfortunately, the main issue my husband and I had was the very uncomfortable beds. Pillows and matterresses felt quite hard and uncomfortable, and we both struggled to sleep as a result of discomfort during our stay. Other than uncomfortable beds, we were impressed by the hotel, however we would not choose to stay here again based on the quality of beds. %#@#

This was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel is modern, spotless and classy. We stayed in the couples deluxe room and it was absolutely fantastic, the bathroom with jacuzzi tub and massive shower was amazing. The nicest room we were ever in and we have stayed in the suites elsewhere this far surpassed them! The food was beautiful in both the bar and the steakhouse, massive portions and good value for money. The staff were brilliant they couldn't do enough for us and there was plenty on so we felt really looked after. The spa was lovely and the therapists were very good at their job the hot stone massage was beautiful. Its like a hidden gem this place and we are so looking forward to returning already. If your looking for a couples get away this is the place to go absolutely amazing 👏 thanks so much 😊

Brandon House Hotel

We were staying as part of the annual piano festival in St. Mary's Church. Room was well laid out, spacious and clean. Cleanliness throughout the hotel is very good. Food - Breakfast fantastic, delicious scrambled eggs and continental section was vast, fresh and tasty. A good selection of Gluten Free products which is an added bonus as even though I am not allergic I do have a slight intolerance so it was nice to have a good balance. We had a late lunch on Saturday that took 45 mins to arrive, the waitress was very apologetic for the delay, we all agreed when it arrived it was only mediocre at best with chowder only warm and excuse the pun.. you would need to fish for the fish, chicken wings were dried out with hardly any sauce and the worst ham and cheese sandwich I ever had, the ham tasted bad, there was barely any cheese, and the bread was not nice. We decided to eat lunch elsewhere in the town the next day as a result. Breakfast and lunch staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful as well as being very well presented and groomed well.

The bed was the comfiest. Really enjoyed the trip. Lovely food. Very friendly staff. Bernard and Lisa went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. Amazing experience. The pool went beyond our expectations. The cleanliness of the hotel over all was amazing.
Talbot Hotel Wexford

The hotel is walking distance from the harbor, and the old trade town. it is a minute from the gift shops. it is 15 minutes from a soft sandy beach with facilities. The hotel is warm, it has heat-which is not always the case. we froze at another hotel and some castles are damp. Maybe one is paying a little more- but you get what you pay for. it took a minute to figure out how to use the elevators-but that is for our security. the beds were comfortable. Also-the pillows were comfortable-not too FAT-i don’t like Fat pillows- they are neck breakers. There is parking. it was overall a lovely visit.
