"We had booked in two hotel rooms but was offered the option to move to an apartment owned by the hotel instead which was a great decision as we were able to stay in the same space as our teenagers, had a full kitchen, two bathrooms and only 200m from the hotel reception. Had a brilliant stay in Rapallo (which we extended by a night as we were enjoying ourselves too much) and a fabulous experience with the hotel, would definitely come back again."

I stayed at the Best Western Hotel Nazionale in Sanremo and could not have wished for a better experience.
The location is simply perfect: right on Corso Matteotti, just steps away from the famous Teatro Ariston and the sea.
The property is elegant and well-maintained in every detail. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered the comfort you would expect from a true 4-star hotel. Breakfast, served on the top floor with a spectacular view of the sea and city center, was one of the highlights of my stay: fresh products, a wide selection, and impeccable service.
A special thank you to the entire staff, who were exceptionally kind and professional—always ready to fulfill every request with a smile. A particular mention to the reception team, quick and extremely helpful with information and recommendations about the city.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Sanremo at its best: unbeatable location, excellent comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
I will definitely be back!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for the first time with our two children. We booked two rooms, both offering a stunning view of the sea. The atmosphere is charming and naturally elegant, enhanced by the historic character of the building. The staff was friendly and supportive throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of both international and local options. The beach is just across the street, only a two-minute walk, which was perfect for us. We also appreciated the hotel’s convenient parking, located just outside the building. The swimming pool with its bar was a highlight—an ideal spot to relax and enjoy an aperitif before dinner. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that we would be happy to repeat in the future.

Hotel booked with it.trip at a super price. All right, the quality perceived is from 4 stars hotel. spacious room, silent air conditioning. I only signal a few small particulars to improve, like a shower bedroom, the electric fruit plates to be fixed better.

We had a very comfortable stay and really enjoyed the hotel. A great bonus was being able to use the amenities of the neighboring 5-star hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the Genova train station.
The only minor issue was the beautiful antique elevator, which was not always reliable because the doors had to be closed manually, and some guests did not do this properly, which occasionally meant the elevator would not work and we had to take the stairs instead.
Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay again.

A very pleasant stay overall. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable rooms and good soundproofing. This place is great. It’s old but that’s the charm. It’s beautiful and unique. The service provided was easily one of the best parts about the stay, everyone was extremely nice and professional. The amenities were amazing, there was like 4 different types of saunas and even 4 different types of showers (who knew?) and being able to jump into crystal blue waters and then order a beer to my pool lounge which was next to the rocks was pretty sick.
