We had a wonderful stay at this well maintained hotel. The pool was amazing and close to the beach. Staff were very friendly and it had a standard hotel breakfast. Booking of activities were possible form the front desk. The location was great for watching the sunrise. One downside was the day tours that drop hundreds of people right next to this hotel’s beach. We just moved to the amazing infinity pool for peace and quiet. Something to consider if you are looking for a quiet beach all day.
Zeavola Resort

We had an amazing visit! Would definitely return! You must realize that you are staying basically in the jungle. You don't need fancy clothes. You don't even need shoes. Getting there takes time and you need to plan ahead with flights and boat transfers. We were there during ”off” season, so this information could change during high season. (Check other reviews.) There was not any entertainment, which was perfect for us! We came to rest and relax and enjoy the beach. We read books, swam, walked, ate, exercised, slept. Best vacation ever. 1) When I go to a beach resort, the most important thing is THE BEACH. This beach is gorgeous, the sand is golden, the water is clear and beautiful. The swim area is very generous and cleared of large rocks. No trash or debris. You can also go outside the swim area and snorkel near the rocks that are in front of the neighboring resort. Lots of lounge chairs with a bean-bag type cushion and large umbrellas. If chairs are taken, they also have mats that lay on the ground but with a back cushion. They were very comfortable. 2) The other thing that makes or breaks a hotel stay is the comfort of the bed, and the room in general. The bed was perfect -- not too hard, not too soft. The rooms are individual teak wood buildings and have thatched roofs. The room has air conditioning. The beds have mosquito nets, but I didn't feel like we needed them during our stay. There is a beautiful breezeway porch with chairs and cushions, then an enclosed bathroom with toilet, sink & shower. There is a separate outdoor shower behind a wooden wall. Also an outdoor sink attached to a dressing table with chair and mirror plus outlet. If you have long hair that you usually dry, I would make plans NOT to do so. It is too hot and the hair dryer is not really for styling. (ours only had high setting and it made my hair look crazy) 3) Food/Dining - The resort had a large dining area where an amazing breakfast buffet spread was served daily. We were able to get lattes with several different types of milk (regular, almond, soy). There were western choices and traditional Thai choices. Fresh eggs to order. The other restaurant is on the beach. You can get lunch/snacks and dinner there (special occasions or rain would move to the breakfast area). For dinner there were delicious Thai choices. They also had western/American food, but we ate Thai at all meals except a hamburger & fries once for lunch. 4) Drinks/Alcohol - We're not big drinkers, but I felt they had an adequate range of alcohol to make a variety of drinks/cocktails. I don't usually like sugary drinks, but the ones they serve in the fresh coconut and the fresh pineapple were delicious. They also had a fair selection of wines. We don't drink beer, but they did offer it. 5) Spa/Gym - We had Thai massages that were wonderful. There's a workout room with some free weights and several machines (elliptical, treadmill, rower). Very nice. 6) - Pool - beautiful pool that

Ton Sai Bay
We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were all amazing and very helpful. They collected us from the pier with our bags and carried them directly to the room, and the same leaving the island. The hotel is all individual tree top cabins. This can be a hike/long walk up a hill to the room depending on which one you stay in. The hotel is located on the beach with a private beach which is lovely. You can walk across the beach for 3 minutes to the main path around Phi Phi. 5 minute walk from the hotel to restaurants/shops. Taking 15 minutes to walk to the pier. Or you can get a tail boat taxi directly from the hotel beach to take you around the island or day trips. The hotel’s breakfast was 5/10. The average buffet style breakfast. The pool bar doesn’t exist when we were there and doesn’t look like it has been open in a long time. The rooms were cleaned everyday. I would not recommend the hotel for young children or people with reduced mobility.
Apple A Day Resort Krabi, Ao Nang Beach

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel, and it is the first time after the epidemic. I have always been very satisfied with Apple One Day Hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Great location, close to 2 beaches. The service at the front desk is top, and I especially commend Satayu and Suttirak of the front desk. They are friendly to all guests and help them in many ways. In addition, the tourist information desk in the hotel lobby is absolutely satisfactory. The business is good. The staff lady Enus can speak multiple languages, even fluent Chinese, I like book day tour with her. The scenery of Krabi is amazing beautiful, the hotel facilities are also very good, and the swimming pool is beautiful. There are biscuits and potato chips in the room every day for free. Next time I come to Krabi, I will definitely continue to stay in this hotel.
Andakiri Pool Villa Panoramic Sea View

We stayed here for 12 nights in march 2023. We have no bad things to say about this hotel - the rooms are lovely, the pool is amazing with beautiful views of greenery and the sunset. Breakfast is very peaceful as you sit looking out over the view, and was quiet each day we ate. We tried the floating breakfast one morning which cost 300 baht (around £7.50 for 2 people). This was lovely and felt very luxurious. There is a free shuttle to and from the beach/high street however we decided to rent a motorbike from reception which at first we were sceptical about getting it up and down the hill with 2 people on but we did it multiple times a day with no issues. The staff were very helpful, sorting our airport transfers and motorbike quickly, and the maids were very kind too. Overall we would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area and want to stay somewhere with luxury for a good price. Thank you, Andakiri!!

Nadivana Serviced Apartments

Nopparat Thara
We had a 3 day stay at Nadivana Serviced Apartments. We booked a small room which was at the back of the property which we didn't mind at all. The room was clean and large with a great shower. Coffee available in the room and if you wanted there were all kinds of things in the ”mini bar” available for purchase rather than running to a store. It's a bit further away from the beach but there are shuttles every 2 hours going to the beach and it's nice to be away from all the heavy tourist activity anyway. We were able to try some different beach areas which suited us very well. Simen the owner was very helpful with questions about the area, Thailand, or even to help with minor issues in the apartment. The pool is very nice and we loved it! It has a small pool bar where we sat one night and chatted with other occupants. The food was very good at dinner and the breakfast was a great value as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nadivana and would book it again if were were to return to Krabi.

Venice Krabi Villa Resort

The hotel conforms to the internet photos, very pretty, the setting, although far from everything, also with its small villas on stilts very well appointed and air-conditioned with a small cozy terrace overlooking the well-treated water certainly because there is no no mosquitoes. On the other hand, when it comes to logistics, it’s a disaster! In general, when the room is made up, people forget to put water bottles even though the water is not drinkable, or shower towels, or quite simply toilet paper!! The phone is out of order, knowing that reception is about 500m away on foot. When you express your dissatisfaction in their language (thanks Google translate) these ladies laugh at the reception and do not react, no action on their part…. We took a room with a jacuzzi which does not work, there is only cold water… The swimming pool is magnificent, overflowing, with a view of the villas on stilts, it is 63 m long, there is has max 20 deckchairs!?! A bar that is never open! And breakfast! A coffee machine for the entire hotel!!! If you don't have lunch when it opens, the dishes won't be refilled! By the way, if you are thinking about drinking a drop of alcohol, even just a beer... not even in your dream, there is not a drop of alcohol. Last and then I promise I'll stop, we return to the room at 4:30 p.m. having left it at 10 a.m., it still hasn't been cleaned!!! I am really disappointed with the service offered for the service paid!
SAii Phi Phi Island Village
4.4/5133 Reviews
This hotel is located in a more secluded area of the Phi Phi islands, offering beautiful views to the warm ocean and an exclusive, peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were clean and modern, with all the expected amenities of a 5* luxury resort. We were very disappointed though with the lack of activities available throughout the day and night. There was no music, no games, no fun times arranged by the hotel. Don’t expect any kind of entertainment, apart from the classic paid tours - snorkeling, seeing other islands around, fishing. This makes the whole experience a little boring after a while. Finally, the customer experience was far from being the best. Two days before our arrival, we contacted both Trip.com and Saii to communicate that we would arrive in Phuket later than we expected due to flight delays and, unfortunately, would not be able to get to the harbor in time for the last ferry to Saii. After 3pm there is no possibility to go there, unless you book a private boat that costs more than the resort stay itself. After many attempts of trying to find a solution, the hotel management was not flexible at all. The “options” they gave us were simply ridiculous and unreasonable (first, they suggested that we booked the private boat, then they suggested that we changed out flight time, and finally they suggested that we spent the night in Phuket and took the first ferry the day after without any kind of compensation or flexibility on their end), compared to a simple change of dates to one day ahead (same amount of days, no refund asked). They insisted that the hotel was fully booked and that this was not possible, even after we clearly showed them there was availability on many websites. We ended up loosing that one night without any kind of compensation. Very disappointing, especially when you’re talking about a luxury resort, which, by nature, is quite expensive.
