The Roman Baths is located in the center of Bath, opposite Bath Abbey. It is an attraction in Bath and also the origin of the city's name. This well-preserved Roman bathhouse is a place that draws endless streams of eager visitors. Stepping inside is like witnessing a living portrait of Roman-era life, featuring the sacred spring, Roman temple, Roman bathhouse andThe Roman BathsThe artifacts are quite famous. #Architectural features# The Victorian reception hall at the entrance is magnificent, with arched ceilings carved with scenes of the four seasons. Here, besides purchasing tickets, don't forget to pick up a free audio guide (available in Chinese). However, large luggage storage is not provided, so if needed, you can store bulky luggage elsewhere before exploring. The baths are divided into upper and lower levels. The lower-level pool is connected to an underground hot spring, with emerald-green water that remains warm to this day, bubbling up continuously. It's hard to imagine it has maintained this state for over 10,000 years. The upper and lower levels of the baths are supported by 12 pillars, each topped with statues of varying forms, as the Romans believed the godlike hot springs were a gift from divine protection. From the reception hall, you can proceed to the terrace, which offers a panoramic view of the Great Bath, surrounded by Victorian-era statues dating back to 1894. Take a moment here to admire the overall grandeur of the Great Bath. #Sacred spring# The sacred spring is located at the heart of The Roman Baths, with natural water maintaining a constant temperature of 46°C. Water gushes from underground day and night, with excess flowing into the original Roman drainage system. The museum features a glass floor, allowing visitors to clearly see the bath's water pipes below, which also house treasures like carved gemstones and tin masks, well worth a look. #Great bath# The Great Bath is the highlight for most visitors. This massive pool is lined with 45 lead slabs and has a depth of 1.6 m. Steps are installed around it for easy access. The pool is filled with abundant spring water, its surface steaming. A large stone slab lies horizontally where the hot spring flows out, serving as a diving platform for entertainment in ancient times. From 10:00 to 17:00 daily and during July and August evenings, staff dress in ancient Roman attire, immersing visitors in the distant Roman era. The Great Bath is flanked by the East Bath and West Bath, along with bathing suites and a high-temperature bath. For more historical insights, visit The Roman Baths Museum, which houses composite models of the temple and baths, as well as exhibits of comedy films related to ancient Rome.Bath · 17.8 km from Bristol

The Jane Austen Centre on Gale Street recreates Austen's life in Bath. The street where it is located still maintains the appearance of 200 years ago, and the BBC also filmed the TV series "Persuasion" here. As one of the more famous and popular writers and writers who lived in Bath, Jane Austen has a deep relationship with Bath. She spent two long vacations here and wrote the famous book "Pride" and Prejudice." In 1801, he settled here with his retired father, and created "Persuasion" and "Northanger Abbey" based on his life experience here. When you come to the Jane Austen Center, you will see the statue of Miss Austen standing outside the door to welcome the guests. She is wearing a lake blue long dress and a lampshade-like hat. There is a lively uncle on the side to greet you at the door. . As usual, there is a blue magnetic plaque on the outer wall, which reads the Jane Austen Memorial Center, and the wooden door is also painted blue to match Austen's dress. The collections in the Memorial Centre depict Bath's past life, as well as many about Jane Austen and her work. Jane's books, correspondence, old maps of Bath, movie stills, costumes from the movie "Persuasion" are displayed. Going up to the second floor is the light blue "Regency Tea Room", which serves refreshments throughout the day, including "Mr Darcy Tea", "Lady Afternoon Tea", "Austin Tea", "The Taste of Bath" and so on. All are tea and snack sets, ranging from five pounds to a dozen pounds, and "Victoria Sponge Cake" and "Crawford Shortbread" are especially recommended. Jane Austen brand cosmetics and other souvenirs are also sold here, and Austen fans can buy a souvenir or two here.Bath · 17.4 km from Bristol

Originally built in the 1st century AD (during the Roman occupation of Britain), it was constructed around natural geothermal springs and dedicated to Sulis Minerva, the goddess of Celtic and Roman fusion. It served as a religious sanctuary, a spa resort, and a public bath for all. After the Roman withdrawal in the 4th century, it was gradually buried and excavated in the 18th century. Today, it is a World Heritage Site and a landmark of Bath.

A very historical town. The car shuttled through the streets and alleys of Bath, and it turned out that this is the hometown of "Jane Austen", the female writer who wrote "Pride and Prejudice". Simple, beautiful, leisurely, peaceful, elegant and quiet. It can only be said that it is difficult to describe its beauty. very nice. There are many tourists, but it is very orderly. The air is also very good. It felt nice to take a quiet walk.

Bath's most famous attraction is also one of the most magnificent Georgian buildings in the UK. The Crescent Building is a group of 30 connected houses. It looks like a crescent moon from the distant mountains, and it echoes the circus, which represents the sun. There is a lawn for tourists and local residents to rest and play. House No. 1 is a museum (don't go if you don't want to go), two houses in the middle have been converted into hotels (very expensive), and the rest are private property. It's very beautiful when the sun is full~

I enjoyed a day at Thermea! It’s true … this is not a quiet spa! But we didn’t mind that as we like to chat as well. At other spas we’ve been to there is little or quiet chatter and people are often asked to stay quiet. At Thermea guests can get pretty loud in the hot springs or by the fire. We enjoyed a couple of sessions, like stretching and concentration. We really loved how these were offered to us. There is one steam room available for use and the other one is for an extra co
