Booking process was simple enough and contained all the info I needed to find the ferry terminal and correct jetty. Just be aware that there are 2 terminals in Macau so if you're making on ward travel plans be sure you know which one you're arriving at.★

Traveling from Hong Kong to Macau is convenient. Pay attention to the boarding gates; there are East and West gates. Ferries depart on time. Allow extra time for security checks, as you will need to go through immigration. The journey only takes about an hour to reach Macau.★

You'll still need one in Hong Kong; it's generally accepted at most restaurants. If a restaurant doesn't accept it, it's best to avoid it – it's too ostentatious. However, note that upscale restaurants usually don't accept it, but they do accept international credit cards.
