Reviews: Guided tours at the Palace Museum (excluding admissiom tickets)

Teacher Niu's explanations were fantastic! He kept it all very interesting, explaining historical facts with great emotional value. He even took us to the best photo spots and explained things for hours on end. Thank you so much, Teacher Niu!

I bought a ticket, thinking I'd get an English-speaking guide. Guides are extra, and I couldn't find an audio guide, so I paid extra for each pavilion separately. But the park is magnificent: spring, cherry blossoms and magnolias in bloom, a lake with boats and ducks, the Long Corridor, pavilions and towers—everything is impressive. There are a lot of people, but it's not too overwhelming. We were there on a Friday. You can spend the whole day sipping coffee by the lake. We entered through the East Gate and exited through the North Gate. I recommend this route to everyone. The metro station is 100 meters to the right when you exit.

A day that made me truly understand why people say to enjoy life while you're young. It is seriously vast... My feet hurt so much that I couldn't even properly see half of the Summer Palace, but it was a day where I experienced the grandeur and expansiveness of China. Nevertheless, I highly recommend visiting without hesitation.
