Reviews: San Francisco: Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf & Optional Extras

Kenan? was a great guide telling us so many interesting things about the history and development of San Francisco from the gold rush to recent days. He also showed us som great places to visit like the Mecanical Museum, Boudin Bakery and where to eat a great lunch/dinner. The ferry to Alcatraz was great as the sky was completely blue and the sun was shining. Alcatraz was very interesting to see but you will not be able to see Al Capone's cell as it is on the second floor where you are not allowed to go. I can really recommend this guided tour by foot in Fisherman's Wharf and a visit to the famous Alcatraz.

The driver/guide was excellent and adapted the tour to accommodate the fact that Muir Wood was very unfortunately closed. We left the tour at Sausalito and caught the ferry back which enabled us to spend more time there. I thank you forgiving us the option to cancel.

narrated history of golden gate bridge and alcatraz was filled with enough color to maintain interest in environment to both sides of ship without sounding like an encyclopedia entry forward bow access was ideal for myself and other young travelers

Trip was excellent, turned up exactly on time, free water, Aaron was informative, fun & knowledgeable. He made the whole experience great & kindly took lots of pics when we asked, he also gave us fantastic recommendations to the best Chinese Restaurant we have all ever eaten at (R&G Lounge) & Freddies Sandwiches. Thanks Aaron X
