I watched the opera show today and honestly, it was so good! The actors were amazing, the story was interesting, and the whole theater had such a beautiful, traditional Chinese vibe. The music and costumes were super pretty and the whole performance felt really special.
Also, huge thank to Lucy from Trip! She was really sweet and helped me change my ticket when the show had some problem from the beginning. Thanks to her, everything went smoothly and I could enjoy the show completly.
Overall, it was a really great experience. Totally worth it!★

This was lovely. The rows of seats are a bit narrow, so it's hard to get past people. Also, the back seats are a bit loud with kids, so I recommend springing a little extra on a premium seat. But that's where my complaints end. This was a phenomenal experience. The actors are full of vigour, the performance was exhilarating, the stage effects and visuals were a feast for the eyes. I would recommend this 100%.★

What a fantastic show! The waitresses were absolutely lovely, they told us everything and even translated everything into Russian. Great stuff. The food: the very beginning had some really interesting dishes, like meat on a log that had to be pounded, and some kind of spicy seafood soup. I can't remember everything now. There were so many dishes, even if the portions were small! We were already full by the end. The cabbage soup at the end wasn't impressive, but the yogurt was delicious! There's also a museum of imperial cuisine (on the right as you enter the building), and you can take the elevator up and take some photos.★

We had an amazing hutong food tour with Mike and would absolutely recommend it. The tour was not only delicious but also very informative – we learned a lot about local Beijing cuisine and food culture along the way.
We tried a great variety of foods, including dumplings, traditional street food snacks, and several local specialties. Everything was well explained, from ingredients to preparation and cultural background.
One of the highlights was how much we got to taste – definitely come hungry! The tour ended with some traditional desserts, which was a perfect finish after all the savory dishes.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience: authentic, well organized, and very generous in terms of food. A great way to experience Beijing through its local cuisine.
