We had a driver and guide for 4 days, who brought us to key Zhangjajie sights including the Fox Fairy show which was amazing! Our guide (Max) was knowledgeable and friendly, and made our entire journey very smooth, without long queues, and enjoyable. His meals / restaurant recommendations were also good - tasty food at reasonable price! Would recommend this private tour.★

I boarded the train from Seoul Station. I was able to reserve my seat on the official website following the steps outlined on Trip.com (available in Japanese). I tapped the QR code on the ticket gate twice: when boarding at Seoul Station and when disembarking at Incheon Airport. Ticket gates at Seoul Station open 30 minutes to 3 minutes before departure. There were no announcements about when ticket gates open or close, so it's important to pay attention to the departure time (and ticket gate closing time).★

Cheaper than getting it at the station. Online purchase is quick and easy. There was a long queue in Ueno station on the way back to Narita airport. The queue is for cash purchase and ticket collection with QR code. Approximately took around half an hour to get the paper tickets. You can choose the departure time, cabin and seats. Suggestively to get your paper tickets at least an hour before. Also, you may buy food to eat on board.
