The shuttle bus departs from the Mirui building and leaves quite on time. The driver is good and not too fast. On the way there, I chose to sit in the driver's seat for a beautiful view.

Great experience, we were guided by Hang in the market, who explained the different vegetables to us. We then had tea and ate peanuts. Then we started cooking with a chef. She didn't speak English, but Hang did the translation. We prepared 3 dishes, all as good as each other. I highly recommend doing this activity during your visit to Chengdu!

Amazing experience. Lance is a knowledgeable and informative host. The tour through the markets was a great experience and I learned a lot about the food and culture. Li was a great chef and teacher which resulted in many delicious dishes to be eaten. I left with happy memories, a full belly and a collection of recipes to try at home.

The painting teacher and the school headmaster were both exceptionally kind and attentive—genuinely caring hosts who guided us with great patience. A fluent English-speaking interpreter was present the entire time and assisted with everything, including arranging transport. She also shared fascinating insights into local customs and everyday life in China. The result was a deeply authentic, hands-on experience that felt personal and thoughtfully curated rather than touristy. If you’re looking for something meaningful and memorable, this is it. 11/10. /// (The following is AI English to Chinese translation) This was one of the best experiences we had in China. We booked this class as a birthday gift for my husband, and he was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed it.
