Everything was perfectly organized. Our guide was Linda – we were easy to find and explained everything; she's fantastic! The bus was warm and clean, we met at the art museum and then dropped off at the Olimp Gorodok metro station. You can buy tickets for the lift, the wall itself, lunch, and XR on the bus. 📌Check the weather forecast! There are three ways to climb the wall: by indoor or outdoor lift (~100 yuan) or on foot. You can also descend the wall (the slide is not available because it's seasonal). The wall is very slippery, and they don't keep up with cleaning, so it's impossible to walk normally from one tower to the other (going up on one lift and down on another). It's simply impossible to walk; you slide down the wall like a slide, and sometimes you even fall. Therefore, you can only walk in relatively small sections. There are cafes and shops at the bottom of the wall (haggle). If you do decide to come here off-season, bring warm and waterproof clothing (hats, scarves, raincoats) so you don't have to buy them here, and hiking poles (they've allowed many to go where others couldn't).

Thank you so much for making it easy to book the tour! Especially now that paying by card is difficult. We paid for everything with a Russian Mir card. The tour guide, Vanya (unfortunately, we didn't remember his Chinese name), was a very good person and guide. It was comfortable and wonderful with him! I won't even say much about the wall itself. You definitely need to see it and feel its scale! It's hard to find the words! Thank you so much to Vpna, the driver, and all the organizers for an unforgettable tour!!!

We had an amazing experience with our Amy tour guide in China. The trip to the Great Wall and the Summer Palace was absolutely unforgettable. Our guide was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and explained the history in a way that was easy to understand and really interesting. Everything was well organized, and we always felt taken care of. The Great Wall was breathtaking, and the Summer Palace was beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend this guide to anyone visiting China – truly an amazing tour!

The highest level of professionalism! He explained everything without even knowing the language. I want to express my deepest gratitude to our guide for a unique excursion. Before the tour, I was worried I wouldn't understand anything due to the language barrier (I don't speak English). But my guide turned out to be a true master of his craft! He found ways to convey information, pointed out details on maps, and communicated through a translator. Thanks to his patience and desire to truly explain, not just memorize, I not only understood everything but was completely engaged. This was an invaluable experience and a truly human touch. We visited the Summer Palace in early March 2026. A trip.com QR code arrived in our email the day before. No additional registration was required. There was no line at the entrance, and we walked in without any problems. The grounds are very large, beautiful, and well-maintained. We took the metro. We didn't use the audio guide, so I've rated it so as not to lower my score.

Perfect experience. As a solo female traveller I felt safe and comfortable. The communication with Lucy was great and professional, giving me step by step information along the way. We contact the day before trip. We used WhatsApp to communicate. The driver was very helpful picking me up and dropping me off at my hotel. Car is really comfortable. Once at at the Great Wall the driver walked me to the shuttle bus, got on the bus with me and showed me to the chair lift up. Then meeting me up at the top of the chair lift before leaving for me to walk the wall which was perfect. I then met the driver back in the car park where he had dropped me off. The driver didn’t speak English but we used a translator and it was absolutely fine. Key tips, remember where the car parked, make sure you have enough battery on your phone, it’s a lot of stairs on the wall up and down hill so not suitable if you are injured etc and wear comfortable shoes. Make sure you have your passport!
