Jökulsárlón: Blue Ice Cave Tour and Glacier Walk

Departing from the beautiful Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, you will drive in a jeep for approximately 30 minutes towards the glacier. Your guide will go through the equipment needed for the hike, and you will be provided with all of the correct safety equipment, including crampons, a helmet, a harness, and an ice pick.

Leave the jeep and start your hike. Experience an approximately 1 - 1.5-hour hike through the beautiful glacial landscape, where you can admire nature in its wild, unspoilt state.

When you reach the ice cave, you will have sufficient time to photograph and explore it and appreciate the magnificent shapes of the ice floes. After the cave exploration has ended, return to the jeep following the same route and drive back to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where your tour will end.
