Hurghada: Morning Quad Bike & ATV Adventure Along a Red Sea

Begin your day in Hurghada with a quad bike and ATV adventure that takes you across the desert while the morning air is cool and the Red Sea glimmers on the horizon. This is not a racing event but a guided experience created to combine adrenaline with safety and cultural touches, making it one of the most popular ways to explore the desert around Hurghada. With multiple times, transfer choices, and add-ons, this program is designed to fit every traveler's schedule.

Your trip starts with either a shared hotel pickup or by meeting directly at the quad base if you select the entry-only ticket. Transfer times vary by location: around 25–30 minutes from Makadi Bay or Sahl Hasheesh, 40–45 minutes from central Hurghada, and up to an hour from El Gouna, Soma Bay, Safaga, or Al Ahyaa. Private transfers are also available for faster, more comfortable travel. Guests are advised to travel light and leave valuables at the hotel.

At the base, you will be welcomed by the desert team and given a safety briefing along with a short test drive to ensure all riders feel ready. The minimum driving age is 16, and reckless riding is not permitted. Once prepared, you'll set off on a guided ride through dunes, valleys, and sandy plains, with several stops along the way for photos and time to enjoy the silence of the desert landscape paired with views of the Red Sea.

A short camel ride is included with every program, around five minutes, ideal for photos and the chance to experience this traditional mode of travel. Guests who would like more time may upgrade to a 30-minute camel session.

For early risers, the 5:00 AM sunrise tour is especially rewarding. After your ride through the awakening desert, you'll enjoy a traditional Oriental breakfast. This is the only option that includes breakfast, so guests should select the sunrise departure when booking.

The 1H Quad + 1H Horse — Special Combo Tour is available early morning from all locations. It combines one hour of quad biking with one hour of horseback riding, offering both speed and tradition in the cooler part of the day.

Evening riders may prefer the 2H Quad Bike — Stargazing, Dinner & Show. This option includes a sunset desert ride followed by an Oriental dinner, live entertainment, and stargazing under the clear night sky.
