What a wonderful experience! I attended the 12:30 lunch sitting and it was phenomenal. The booking letter was a little nerve wracking as I wasn’t sure of the location, but managed to find the right spot. From the moment you walked in the door, staff were welcoming, receptive and supportive. I did not dress up (though am secretly envious of those that did while mutually grateful for my decision not to as it feels a lot of effort for lunch and I’m afraid with my chopstick skills I would spoil the delicate fabrics 🫣). Be sure to go early - museum time. 2nd row recommend, unless you especially want dramatic service, as 2nd row service is exceptional, with only slightly less dramatic flair than front row. The show had English language translations and was visually spectacular. I cannot speak highly enough of the skill and grace of the performers and staff. Costuming, lighting etc spectacular. Volume perhaps a little high for lunch time, but such a minor complaint. Food A+

This place is a must-see. You can step back in time, recreating the world under the emperor as it was then. We sat in the second row, and basically had a view of everything. If you want to feel like you're right there and participate in the performance, then take the first row: all the dishes will be brought out to you beautifully presented. The acting is top-notch, it's impossible to tear yourself away even with the dishes on the table. Definitely 100 out of 100! Before the event, you can stroll through the museum; there are plenty of photo opportunities. Tip: they say you should definitely arrive by 5 to avoid being late, but we had to wait an hour and a half for the dinner itself to begin. You can arrive a little later.

I really enjoyed the diverse performances, each artist was authentic and memorable for their style. Of course, now I want to see even more local art forms. Regarding the organization, it's a shame we weren't seated in the front row, even though there were plenty of empty seats. It was painful to watch the performers inhaling dust while performing acrobatic stunts, and the stage carpet needs a thorough cleaning. The hall itself, due to the high traffic volume, doesn't give the impression of cultural heritage. The interactive interaction at the end was very enjoyable.

Reviews: Half-day guided tour of Beijing Temple of Heaven Park, Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, Imperial Vault of Heaven, Echo Wall, and Circular Mound Altar.

Our guide, Xiao Cai, a top-notch tour guide from Beijing, provided a warm and detailed explanation, giving our group a comprehensive understanding of the Temple of Heaven. The children actively participated and responded, and even our picky grandmother nodded frequently – it was truly excellent. If we have the opportunity to visit Beijing again, we'll definitely hire another top-notch guide from Beijing; we hope to encounter such a wonderful guide again.

Guide Ning's explanations were very detailed, and we didn't waste any time on unnecessary detours. The itinerary was perfect for seniors. Fantastic! 👍🏾
