Reviews: Baku: Gobustan, Mud Volcanoes, Fire Mountain & Temple Tour
Guest User2026-04-11
The tour allows you to see all the places that are difficult to reach on your own. The bus was comfortable, and the group size was good—17 people packed up quickly and moved from place to place without any hassle. The mud volcanoes aren't particularly impressive, but you can reach them off-road in a Niva, which is in danger of falling apart. The most interesting spots are Gobustan (an open-air museum) and the Fire Temple in Absheron. Be prepared to pay extra for the tickets and the Niva ride (we paid 65 manat per person for all the extras) plus lunch. Bring water and a small snack, as lunch isn't until 2:00 PM. The tour was offered in three languages: English, Spanish, and Turkish. They said there were Russian-speaking groups, but we didn't find that option. Overall, it was a great experience for a very reasonable price.

Reviews: Half-Day Baku, Gobustan & Mud Volcanoes Adventure
Guest User2026-11-01
Our tour guide, Ms. Nurshan, was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and provided detailed and clear explanations, ensuring we had a wonderful tour. I had booked a half-day tour including meals, and although it said so on my ticket, meals were not included. Apart from that, thanks to Ms. Nurshan, my trip was very enjoyable and educational. I highly recommend it.

The excursion is very well planned and offers a great selection of sights. An ideal complement to a walking tour of the city.
