Reviews: Ho Chi Minh - Mui Ne Phan Thiet Bus By Hanh Cafe

We had a wonderful ride from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne. They dropped us off at the hotel. We had to transfer our suitcases from the bus to the sleeper bus. We changed at the bus station, 40 minutes outside of Ho Chi Minh City, from a seated bus to a sleeper bus. Arrive at the office 30 minutes before departure, as they'll give you your ticket with a seat then. We asked for a seat upstairs, and that's what they gave us.

We booked this with a friend, but the bed was too narrow for two people; we couldn't even turn over. There were phone chargers and water available. The bus stopped every two hours for bathroom breaks. The driver was good; I slept the whole way. Upon arrival in Da Lat, there was a minivan to take us to the next stop. In Da Lat, we had coffee, instant noodles, and snacks.

The tour bus itself was worth riding and was nice. However, even though I had a reservation number, the verification process took a long time, and people who arrived later ended up getting on first. The reservation is pointless. Just pay directly on the spot. That's faster!

I made a reservation for travel to Vung Tau and was given directions via WhatsApp, where I had registered as a contact, to meet near pillar 15 at T2. On the day of departure, I was kept informed of every change in the vehicle's license plate number. I boarded the van at an office a short distance from the airport. The van had a three-seater back, four single seats, and two seats next to the driver. We arrived in about three hours, taking local roads with a rest stop along the way.

We departed Ho Chi Minh City at 8:25, crossed the border at 11:20, departed again at 12:30, and arrived in Phnom Penh at 16:35. There was one rest stop along the way. The immigration and customs procedures were handled by the guide, which made things easy.

A great way to travel from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City. The driver was cheerful – he woke me up in the morning with cheerful songs 😊 When I asked to stop for the restroom, he always found a spot – very responsive.
