loved being driven to the sights as the city is very hilly. Some of the historic sights were shared via a recording but the video was running ads (would have liked to have images of the things they were describing so we could confirm we were looking at the right thing).

Great tour with Ammon Express (as usual). Giorgos is fantastic (like all the company's guides). Apart from the minibus transport (uncomfortable for tall people), everything was perfect. We were given the choice between an hour at the beach or more time in Kavala. With the first option, there wasn't enough time to eat (well) in Kavala, but we were dazzled by the richness of the program, which will appeal to even the most eclectic and demanding tourists.
