Reviews: Ko Samet: 5 or 6 Islands Snorkeling Tour with Lunch Option
Guest User2026-08-09
I chose a service package, booked it, paid, and a couple of hours later they contacted me via messenger (the one I chose) and said they'd pick me up half an hour before the service started. The bike arrived, they took me to the pier, gave me a wristband, and about 10 minutes later I boarded the boat and sped off to the island. The boat staff were excellent, always positive. We looked at the fish, fed them, and if anyone had any problems with their mask and snorkel, they were there to help. Then we went ashore, took a look around, took some photos, and came back down with some fruit already cut up. Overall, it was a blast. If I ever go to Samet again, I'll snorkel with this team.

Reviews: Koh Samed Day Trip by Speed Boat(English-Speaking Guide)
Guest User2026-09-19
This tour includes a roundtrip transfer from our hotel in Pattaya to the island, including lunch. We were picked up from our hotel in the south of Pattaya, taken to the pier (70 km), and then a speedboat to the island. From the pier in Samet, we were taken to a local beach. They arranged a cafe on the beach. There, we ordered drinks, fed a simple lunch, and then gathered everyone for a ride back to our hotels. We calculated that driving ourselves would have been cheaper. However, in terms of comfort, everything was quick and convenient. The beach and cafe matched the photos, but lunch was basically unnecessary. If you drive yourself, the roundtrip boat is 400 baht, they let you into the cafe if you order from them... and then there's a taxi for the 70 km one way. Do the math, the difference is insignificant; comfort and relaxation are everything! Thank you for the tour and the beautiful island; it's the best thing about Pattaya.

Reviews: Pattaya Full-Day Catamaran Yacht Tour | 3 Remote Islands | Snorkeling, Sea Fishing & Sunset Cruise | Bamboo Island & Monkey Island | Hotel Transfers Included

Overall, the trip was fine. There are some caveats: the long journeys between islands, especially since it's a catamaran, and we probably weren't very lucky with the waves—I get really seasick. Swimming in the open sea once isn't enough; on other similar excursions, you only get two. Another major drawback is that the catamaran doesn't take you to Monkey Island. My child was expecting this the entire trip, so we ended up throwing watermelon slices at them from the catamaran and then we continued on. Overall, it's a fine excursion for large, fun groups.

Reviews: Pattaya 1-day tour | Explore uninhabited island | Snorkeling / fishing | Sunset party

This experience was absolutely amazing. Everyone on the yacht, from the staff to the crew, was incredibly impressed. Afu, who was on the yacht, had been studying Chinese for three years, but you couldn't tell he'd only studied for three years. You'd almost think he was Chinese because his Chinese was so fluent. He provided such attentive service, even though my sister and I were the only Chinese people on the yacht. I really wanted to tip him, but unfortunately, I missed the chance. If anyone books this trip because of my honest review, please say hello to Afu for me. He's a truly kind, bright-eyed, and simple young man. Spending a day with him made me realize how simple, genuine, and happy people can be.

Gorgeous views, a great opportunity to catch a glimpse of several islands. The instructor spoke Russian. It was nice to see that the guys who accompanied us were having a great time too.

Reviews: Pattaya Catamaran Yacht 3 islands One-Day Tour | Snorkeling & Fishing | Pattaya Hotel Transfer | Koh Phai Island & Koh Rin Island & Koh Ped Island
Guest User2026-05-17
The tour overall was good and mostly matched the description. The staff was friendly, and the boat was clean, although the cushions and seats looked a old and worn out. The food was tasty and there was plenty of it, but the prices on board were slightly above average. The extra tax charge was confusing because it was not clearly explained. A thanks to the photographer — the photos turned out beautiful and high quality. One confusing moment was related to the islands. The tour description mentioned visiting three islands, but in reality we only stopped at two. During the fishing activity we were near another island, and it seems this was counted as the third one, so the description should probably be clarified. The trip was planned for my friend’s birthday. We brought champagne, but nobody informed us about the 1000 baht corkage fee until we were already on the catamaran. It would have been nice if the staff had at least congratulated the birthday person. Thank you for the experience.
