Reviews: Nagano Zenkoji Temple Town Walking Tour with Oyaki Tasting

We had the best time in Nagano on this tour. Visiting the Zenkoji Temple site is a must. So much history, tradition and spiritual culture in one spot and great difference between downtown Nagano. Our guide, Graeme, was engaging, knowledgeable and sympathetic (despite being Australian ๐Ÿ˜‰) The voyage inside the Temple from Earth to Nirvana is an exceptional experience which we recommend. Graeme showed us sites of interest on the route to the Temple as well which gave us an insight into how the old City worked. Our taste of food included miso soft ice cream and Oyaki- small baked dough dumplings filled with marinated vegetables. Ice cream was better than Oyaki in our opinion

The tour was awesome and the guide was great. Super relaxed and fun. And we learned a lot of really cool facts. Overall just a really fun afternoon. Def loved the guide, nice guy and good humor.
