It's definitely worth including in your itinerary! Although you'll be a bit distant when you see the whales, maintaining distance is necessary for wildlife! They sell seasickness medication on-site, for both adults and children; I recommend taking some. The waves were fine that day, but we still took the medication just to be safe! During the voyage, you'll remain inside the cabin, but when whales are spotted, everyone will be allowed to come out to see them. If you're sensitive to wind, I suggest wearing a hooded windproof jacket! We saw many whales wagging their tails and spouting water during the trip—it was a fantastic experience.
