Reviews: Kansai railway pass lite (2026 new edition) 2-day/3-day pass (formerly Kansai thru pass)

Very easy to use, but you need to refresh and open the QR code before exiting. Make sure you have an internet connection. It's convenient and worth the money. Recommended.
Reviews: Kyoto and Nara Day Tour │ Kiyomizu-dera Temple + Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine + Nara Park
Guest User2026-07-28
The whole trip was very relaxing. Hotel pick-up and drop-off were provided, and I was lucky enough to be picked up by the last company in line, at 8:25 AM, so I could sleep in a bit. I visited Nara Park, Fushimi Inari Shrine, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple—a very fulfilling day. The itinerary wasn't rushed, and I had plenty of time to visit Todai-ji Temple. I also enjoyed strolling around the area around Kiyomizu-dera. The driver/guide was very helpful with directions. It was great value for money—saving time and allowing me to have a great time.
Reviews: JR Haruka Kansai Airport Limited Express ticket (e-ticket/physical ticket [requires redemption] optional)
Guest User2026-06-29
I was in a hurry to get to Umeda, so I chose the Haruka train, which is direct. I used an e-ticket, which I registered on the JR West website and entered by pasting my ticket number. After immigration, I simply selected a reserved seat according to my time, which was very convenient. To board the train, I went up to the second floor after immigration to the tram platform. I entered through the JR gate and queued for the ground-level Haruka carriage.
Reviews: [Guaranteed Departure] Kyoto Fushimi Inari Taisha + Arashiyama + Kinkaku-ji + Nara Park 1-day Tour
Guest User2026-07-29
Both locations are classic photo spots in the Kansai region, but with completely different styles and experiences: Kinkaku-ji (Rokuon-ji): Emphasizing ultimate Japanese aesthetics and breathtaking visuals. Sunlight shines on the gold-leaf-covered Shariden (relic hall), reflecting in the Mirror Pond, creating a beautiful and dignified scene, perfect for taking photos and experiencing the Zen atmosphere. Nara Park: Focusing on natural scenery and highly interactive experiences. Besides visiting the imposing Great Buddha of Todai-ji, the most attractive feature is the abundance of wild deer. Buying a bag of deer crackers and interacting with them is a very therapeutic and fun experience.
