I really like the scenery, quietness and hot springs of the Izu Peninsula, and of course the restaurants with pure Japanese menus. Although it is a bit embarrassing, it is super exciting; I look forward to visiting in three weeks.

The cactus zoo at the foot of Mount Omuro is incredibly soothing. Over a thousand different cacti of varying shapes and sizes grow in the greenhouse, creating a spectacular sight. I thought it was a wonderful facility. It's well-maintained and clean. I think it's a paradise for reptile lovers. I was surprised to see the famous director at the entrance. I couldn't see the turtle race because of the timing, but I'd like to see it next time. The ticket also includes admission to Kawazoo, the frog exhibit.
