Things to do in Izu Peninsula

It’s a fun experience. You get to see the Torii gate from afar.

Price is about the same as buying over the counter, except that we didnt have to queue in line. It's basically a skywalk with a nice view of Mt Fuji. Skywalk seems new. There were also ziplines right beside the skywalk that kids were playing (requires additional cost to play). Across the bridge, there were some food stalls, restaurant and an animal petting store. Overall good for about 2hours.

This is a fantastic museum. The long escalator entrance and the illuminated atrium are very artistic. The sea view from the terrace is superb. The Joruri painted scrolls are gorgeous in vibrant red and green with gold thread. The matcha is also delicious!

Close to Tokyo.. 40 minutes by Shinkansen from Shinagawa, and budget travelers can also take the local train. Don't miss the fireworks like the one in the picture twice a month. The clean hot spring water is also the best 👍 A good ryokan nearby.. A place with a market and a mart.. A must visit again 👍

A famous shrine in Atami where many people come to pray and ask for blessings, and there is a 2,000-year-old big tree.

the pirate ship is nicely decorated full of the pirate ship experience haha , the ride is good , although the weather was a bit cloudy

It is right next to the Moto-Hakone Port and is definitely worth a visit. There are escalators up the mountain, which is a great angle to view Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi Bird's Nest in the city. There are also a variety of gem artworks and art exhibitions in the museum.

In Japan torii is seen a lot, but the torii on the water is really the first time to see in the morning over the road is too crowded, however it took half an hour to take pictures

The cactus zoo at the foot of Mount Omuro is incredibly soothing. Over a thousand different cacti of varying shapes and sizes grow in the greenhouse, creating a spectacular sight.
