Changchun World Sculpture Park is located in the core area of Changchun, covering nearly 92 hectares with 11.8 hectares of water area. It is a modern urban sculpture-themed attraction integrating natural landscapes and cultural scenery, recognized as a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction and one of the first batch of "national key parks." Opened to the public on September 5, 2003, the park features delightful scenery with sculpture art blooming everywhere. Strolling through it, visitors can immerse themselves in artistic charm while enjoying the gentle breeze of nature. The park features five major squares, Moore Lake, and other scenic views, forming a layout of "one park with five museums." These include the Changchun sculpture art museum, Songshan Hanrong African art collection museum, Wei Xiaoming art museum, sculpture experience hall, and Changchun sculpture museum. The five museums fully showcase the perfect fusion of sculpture art and architectural art, with unique designs and rich connotations, earning widespread acclaim. Currently, the attraction houses over ten thousand artworks from 216 countries and regions worldwide, standing out for both the quantity and international diversity of its sculpture collection. It boasts five original works by the world-renowned sculptor Auguste Rodin, making it the sculpture park with the most Rodin originals in China.Changchun · 68.9 km from Nong'an

Poseidon Underwater World

Poseidon Underwater World is the second-phase project of Poseidon Ocean Kingdom. Inspired by ancient Greek mythology, its design theme incorporates marine elements to recreate the architectural wonders of lost ancient Greek civilization, crafting a mysterious underwater world. Ocean Wonderland spans six spectacular zones, recreating the magic and beauty of the underwater world. Walk through panoramic underwater tunnels, wander the mystical depths of the ocean, and experience marine life up close. Feel the thrill of shark encounters, marvel at the ethereal beauty of jellyfish "sea fairies," enjoy romantic mermaid encounters in Mermaid Bay, and lose yourself in the endless wonders of the deep sea. [Deep Sea Mystery] Dive into the mysterious and serene underwater world without bulky diving gear. Stroll through the extra-long panoramic transparent tunnel that leads straight to the ocean's deepest depths. Witness sharks gliding overhead, adorable sea turtles, and nearly 10,000 vibrant tropical fish swimming "right beside" you. The ocean floor is profound and enchanting—both mystifying and dazzling in its beauty. [Fish Valley Crossing] Journey down the Amazon River, a region teeming with biodiversity. Discover a world of vibrant freshwater tropical fish that will spark your curiosity about life's mysteries. This living encyclopedia of nature will ignite children's boundless sense of exploration. [Treasures of the Shark Seas] This is the great shark's domain! Watch as these swift "wolves of the sea" bare their razor-sharp teeth. The giant sharks begin their hunt, sending "prey" scattering in all directions—a frenzied "feeding frenzy" unfolds before your eyes. [Fantasy Jellyfish] Jellyfish, the ocean's natural dancers, gather in mesmerizing groups. Under the lights, they transform into vibrant "underwater sprites," performing a silent ballet that seems to welcome you to their magical underwater wonderland. [Mermaid Bay] A three-story acrylic structure creates a unique underwater theater where golden-haired, blue-eyed mermaids glide freely through the water. Their graceful turns, elegant dances, and vibrant fishtails stir the ocean currents, evoking the presence of the Little Mermaid herself as she brushes past—awaiting her prince to begin a romantic love story. Neptune's "Sanctuary of Sacred Beasts" recreates Rome's iconic Colosseum, where "sacred beast" dolphins perform like gladiators, dazzling audiences with their acrobatic skills and synchronized movements. Ethereal aerial dancers blend multiple art forms and emotional experiences under dreamy lighting, creating a breathtaking visual spectacle that transcends time.China · Harbin

Tianding Mountain Family Fun Experience (approx. 200 words) A weekend trip to Tianding Mountain with the kids! We tried everything – the cable car, the mountain bikes, and the double-track toboggan – a truly immersive experience! The sightseeing cable car winds through the lush greenery, offering panoramic views of the meadows and the city skyline from the summit, all while enjoying a refreshing mountain breeze. The brightly colored mountain bikes are self-controlled and incredibly fun, with winding curves that kept the kids laughing non-stop. Children under 130cm can ride with adults. The high-altitude double toboggan is thrilling yet relaxing, with its undulating tracks and fantastic forest atmosphere. A package deal combining all three attractions offers even better value. The park has excellent facilities, including a lawn for camping and relaxation. The staff are patient and helpful, and safety measures are in place. It's a great choice for a family outing near Changchun!

Although many say China's Snow Town is becoming too touristy & expensive (compared to Snow Valley), I think it is still worth visiting. There are lots of ACTIVITIES to do all within walking distance. Reindeer rides, feeding, skiing, photo op including the hot water vapor video etc. One down side is that there was no signage to designated bus to/from Yabuli station (no waiting area either). It is also difficult to find restaurants for people with dietary restrictions (eg. Vegetarian, halal etc).

"First came Fujia Dian, then Harbin." During the Qianlong era, immigrants from within the Great Wall gradually settled in Harbin. Later, more people migrated to Northeast China, and the Daowai area gradually became a bustling hub for daily life and commerce. In the early 20th century, with Tsarist Russia's ambition to plunder Northeast China's resources, the construction of the Chinese Eastern Railway began, gradually forming a Chinese Baroque architectural complex with a "Western style outside, Chinese style inside." However, upon closer inspection, the exterior wall reliefs do not depict Western angels, but rather pomegranates, bats, peonies, and toads—symbols of many children, blessings, wealth, and peace—truly reflecting the deep-seated cultural confidence of Chinese merchants.

I checked out the No. 54 tram on Hongqi Street in Changchun. This century-old tram is full of nostalgic charm. The tram ride is smooth, and getting on and seated is easy without any bumps. Accompanied by the clatter of the wheels, it slowly winds its way through the city streets, with the street scenes outside the window receding gently. I really enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere, feeling the everyday memories of old Changchun. The fare is affordable, making it a relaxing and pleasant city experience—a meaningful little nostalgic trip.

The Changchun Film Studio Museum, officially opened to the public on August 19, 2014, recreates the story and film culture of the Changchun Film Studio, located on the site of the puppet Manchukuo Film Studio. The 46,137-square-meter museum includes the original main office building, sound studios, and photofinishing workshops. It also houses the Changchun Film Studio Cinema, the Changchun Film Art Gallery, the Changchun Film Studio Concert Hall (with the Changchun Film Studio Orchestra), and the accompanying Changchun Film Studio Cultural District.

The first choice for children to play in the water during the holidays. There are many activities for children to play. The Children's Day children's ticket is 9.9, which is a great value experience. The wave pool is exciting and fun. Accompanying children to drift can also slim down your legs. 😂

As far as I know, there are 6 permanent exhibition halls, and the rest are mobile exhibition halls (?). 4F houses the Duan Chenggui Calligraphy Museum, exhibiting replicas of Su Shi's "Ode to the Spring Scenery of Dongting Lake and Ode to the Pine Wine of Zhongshan." 3F contains the Jilin Provincial Modern History Museum, covering topics from the resistance against Tsarist Russia to the Xinhai Revolution, from the anti-Fengtian uprising to the War of Resistance against Japan and the liberation. A detailed look will inspire respect for these figures. 2F is dedicated to the ancient history of Jilin Province, from the dawn of civilization to the elegance of the Han and Tang dynasties, from the grandeur of Songmo to the splendor of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It covers the people of Yushu and Antu, the Buyeo Kingdom and Goguryeo, and the Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The only drawback is that many artifacts in the Han and Tang Dynasty exhibition hall are on loan, resulting in a less than ideal experience. History buffs should definitely not miss it.

Highly recommended! "Descendants of the Dragon ascend the Dragon Tower." How to put it? Paying to go up the Dragon Tower might not be worth the ticket price, but the feeling afterward makes it all worthwhile. The staff are very professional; while not exactly enthusiastic, their lack of enthusiasm sometimes makes them feel comfortable. The slogans on the Dragon Tower are excellent! They constantly remind us: forgetting the past means betrayal; we must strive to be strong!
