Arima Onsen is a relatively old hot spring in the Kansai region, located in Arima Town, Kita Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. Arima Onsen, one of Japan's three largest hot springs, is a 1,300-year-old hot spring area that is said to have been built by Buddhist monks in the 8th century. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, you can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and maple trees in autumn. In addition to the famous hot springs, this place is quite popular with tourists. The water quality of Arima Onsen is rich in minerals, and it is divided into golden spring, silver spring, radium spring and carbonated spring according to different spring quality. In addition, because the spring quality of Arima Onsen is slightly salty, it is rumored that if an ancient samurai was injured, soaking in this area would make the wound easier to heal. Bathing here, the warm heat often mirrors the dense clouds and mists of the mountains outside. Today's hot spring area is a concentration of elegant hot spring hotels, and the quiet style is another charming style of Kobe.Japan · Kobe

Besides the real spring water, it felt like a bathhouse in China during the summer, albeit with a more elaborate process. First, change into a bathhouse outfit, then shower, then put on your bathhouse outfit to change into your own clothes before leaving. No rest required, and the same process continued. I was given a key box twice. The cashier was quite quick. The food was reasonably priced.

One of my favorite parks placed in the city, Ohorikoen is quite massive, making it a good place for picnics, anytime strolls, jogging, and also has some swan boats for a fun ride in the lake during daytime. If you want to chill for a coffee there is Starbucks.

Kushida Shrine is a must-visit shrine when you come to Hakata. You must come to see the Gion Yamakasa. Although I didn't come in July, I didn't see the big Yamakasa in the city, but I can see the Yamakasa in Kushida Shrine. Read the introduction According to the legend of the shrine, Kushida Shrine was founded in the first year of Tenpyo Hoji (757) and has been the general guardian of Hakata since ancient times. The Hakata Festival is a representative festival of Fukuoka City and is well-known throughout the country.
