Interesting neighbourhood, close to metro and airport bus terminal, rental bikes as well as city attraction. En suite bathrooms a bit old but clean and tidy. Good size rooms with fridge and aircon/heating. Decent breakfast and free coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall excellent value.

The good: location is really unbeatable. It’s close to the old city, and the 747 airport bus stops right across. Train stations and bus terminals are walking distance too. The staff is friendly and helpful, I got to check in a bit early. The rooms were big and had beautiful views - I loved watching the sunset. However, I checked out early and couldn’t bare staying here one more night. It wasn’t that the room was cleaned poorly- that could have been fixed more easily. Instead, you could see the result of negligence over a period of time. The floor was so dirty I washed my feet before going to bed and putting on socks. There were particles of dust or something on the left side of my bed, under the covers - I noticed after getting a skin reaction. And the section of the bed where the sheets were tucked in was dirty, leaving dust and hair on the sides of the sheets. Some surfaces inside the bathroom weren’t cleaned well. Basically if you look closely anywhere there’s dust and dirt. This is the first time I’ve written a negative review on any hotel, but I think the issues were seriously enough that they’re worth raising.

The location is good. You can experience the French Quarter in Quebec and see the Parliament Hill in Ottawa. It takes only ten minutes to walk to Ottawa. The decoration is old. The sanitary conditions are average. I probably won't choose this one next time.

I had an amazing time in the city of Montreal, with its vibrant atmosphere and lively summer spirit. From strolling through the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal, where history meets modern charm, to enjoying the stunning views from Mount Royal, every day was filled with unforgettable experiences. The city’s festivals and outdoor events added to the excitement, making summer in Montreal truly special. Whether savoring the local cuisine, exploring the artsy neighborhoods, or simply relaxing by the waterfront, every moment was a perfect blend of culture, adventure, and relaxation. Montreal in summer is an absolute delight!

The best hotel for the price. The room was huge compared to other hotels. Everything was perfect. I found the best place to stay whenever I’ll have to visit my parents in Brossard. The breakfast is included in the price as well.

Give the river view room on the upper floor, the view is good. The room is fully equipped and the bed is very good. It should be a university next to it, and there are many students staying on weekends. There is free parking, you can drive in and out of the parking lot and swipe your room card. After you check out on the last day, you will leave a room card. After swiping the card out of the parking lot, you can put the card in a box of the road gate.

The hotel is a good hotel in terms of quality and price. What I didn't like was the insonorization of the room, it's well heard people speaking in the corridor, and the noise of the window. The air conditioning is noisy and it did not work at the last 1/4 of the night (2 times I get up due to heat) The breakfast is really middle. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.

The staff at check in and check out were very friendly.  The staff in the hotel were a bit grumpy.  Overall, older but well maintained.  Pool and spa was nice, loved the little birds. One complaint is that most people want to exercise in the pool before 9am!  By 9am my day as begun!  Pool needs to open at 6am and stay open until at least 11pm.  Consider making 9pm to 11pm adults only.

A quirky little hotel that is directly on the main drag in Gatineau. The room was a good size, though the tiny bathroom left a lot to be desired; it was old, dated, and so small that the sink was in the main room. The bed, however, was very comfortable and the desk/tv setup was great. Lots of convenient receptacles for plugging in phones and the like. The fridge in the cupboard made that cupboard very hot and I'd imagine those fridges won't last long as burnout must be a thing... Weird, convoluted directions for getting to the hot tub from our room; make sure to leave a trail of breadcrumbs or you may be lost forever. Front desk staff were professional and completely bilingual, which was very much appreciated.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious, comfortable and clean. With regards to the staff, they were helpful and provided what I needed. The only issue I had was that adjusting the temperature of the water in the shower was troublesome, it was either too hot or too cold.

GGuest UserThe staff were friendly and helpful. I had a strange experience in which a random girl ran into my elevator, talked to me rapidly in French and ran out. Maybe that’s because the location is downtown. But it was an easy walk to sightseeing spots. I was only staying overnight before the next plane, but I went to Chinatown and the pier, and even rode the Ferris wheel in the short time I had.

MMarley KThis hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well. This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate. I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.

AAnita2 hotels share 1 cramp breakfast room.found 1 3-inch screw by my bed and the kitchen wall is kind of under finish. Staffs in breakfast room is quick in weekday but only half the staffs are available in weekend. Front desk ladys don't like to simile , so will try my rusty French next time. Try to ask front desk for direction heading to VIA train station and she only know how to take Uber . Hardware is fine but soft skill sets of the hotel may need to be reviewed.

SSwaggyzhuThis hotel offers great value for money. The room rate is reasonable, the facilities are complete, and the environment is clean and comfortable. The bed is a bit small, a bit cramped for two people. The front desk service is very enthusiastic, and the check-in process is very efficient. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the old town, and the breakfast selection is rich and of good quality.

GGuest UserPro: (1) Upon check-in, I got a complimentary upgrade to a large suite with a balcony. (2) Room is clean, spacious and well equipped. (3) Conveniently located with bus/metro connections to airport and central train station. Only five minutes' walk to Chinatown. Walking distance to old Montreal. Con: (1) Only one housekeeping service in every 7 days of hotel stay which is rather inconvenient, and you need to tidy up your room by yourself. (2) My room is facing a busy street and sometimes got a bit noisy. (3) Difficult to adjust the shower head water temperature which is either too cold or too hot. (4) No safety box in the room.
