Show More ReviewsIt's definitely worth a visit. There weren't many tourists that day, and only a portion of the castle was open to the public; the rest was used by the owners. The castle is famous for its connection to the regicide; Edward II is said to have been imprisoned and brutally murdered here. The castle also displays some paintings and artifacts, and a ballroom was quite impressive.
