If you're heading to Suthep Mountain, you'll inevitably pass by Wat Suan Dok, a famous Buddhist temple built in the 14th century in the beautiful gardens of the Lanna Thai dynasty. The temple houses the largest bronze Buddha statue in Thailand, and the other buildings are also very magnificent. The main hall has a three-tiered roof, and behind it are large and small stupas. According to the guide, the stupas contain the ashes of several Thai kings, hence it is also known as the 'Thirteen Tombs' of Thailand.
The huge bell-shaped stupa in the temple is very similar to those from the Sukhothai period and commemorates the famous monk Mahathera Sumana, who is said to have come to Chiang Mai from Sri Lanka to teach and once lived here.
Photographers are very fond of Wat Suan Dok because it is particularly enchanting at sunset.
Tip: Every year on April 13-14, a large religious festival is held here.
For locals, there is no entrance fee, but foreigners need to pay to enter the temple, which is 20 Thai Baht per person, approximately 4 RMB per person.

Songda Temple was built in the 14th century, when it was the site of the Lanna Dynasty monarch garden, so it is also known as the "Garden Temple" or "Songde Temple", and is the only religious university in northern Thailand. Talinn, which is white as jade, also attracted many photographers or enthusiasts to take pictures. It is said that the scenery of the sunset is the most beautiful.
In Suan Dok Temple on the right hand side from the entrance, there is a king's Ku in the north. Looks beautiful and strange Let's stop by to pay respects.
Went to worship last February, it was the ashes of Chiang Mai governor and his family, including Chao Sukkasem, who has a stable love legend with Burma girl Ma Mia. From the song of Charal Manopet, the day I went, it was a little hot, so I didn't take a long walk. The temple is on the road, able to travel. If you come to visit
Wat Suan Dok is considered another old temple in Chiang Mai. Most of the local people often go to the temple to make merit regularly. There are some tourists, but not many. The inner area is calm, shady, cool, suitable for relaxing and making merit.
