We went to the hot springs at the entrance of Heizhugou (after five o'clock, you don't need to buy a ticket to the scenic area and can enter with very few people). Precautions Remember to bring rain gear, as it rains easily. It's best to have disposable raincoats and the like. Although it's cool, the ultraviolet rays are still strong, so be sure to protect yourself from the sun. There is food for sale only at the entrance of the scenic area, not along the way, so remember to bring your own food and water. There are potatoes and barbecue for sale at the entrance. It takes about 3 hours⏳ to walk the whole boardwalk, which has many viewing platforms and pavilions. It is highly recommended to complete the circuit; 【Fengchaoyan】 is more about mountain climbing, with average scenery but especially cool and fresh air🍃. We only walked for half an hour before turning back, and it would take about 3 hours⌛ to complete the whole route. ⚠Attention: 1. Check the weather in advance🌤. The last part of the road includes county roads and mountain paths, which may have falling rocks. It can be dangerous if it rains heavily🌧; 2. The temperature inside Heizhugou is about 25 degrees, but the ultraviolet rays are very strong, so be sure to protect yourself from the sun☂; 3. If you stay too long in Marilengjiao, you can also skip Fengchaoyan. Comparatively, Marilengjiao is more worth taking your time to explore and take photos📸; 4. There are monkeys🐒 in the Visitor Center parking lot. They are not as aggressive as those on Mount Emei and won't actively snatch things, but you should also not provoke them😉.
