Nice
The Municipal Beach of Keszthely is a nice area with plenty of playgrounds for children. There are several eateries. The beach is well maintained. Admission fee is HUF 1,000/adult and HUF 500/kid.
Not impressed
We just wanted to try swimming in lake Balaton. We did it just once and that was enough for us. Of course, this muddy lake cannot be compared with clear sea elsewhere. We knew that before coming here,...

"Central" beach, quite large. Nearby is a good park with different cafes and moles with walking ships. There are lots of ducks and swans.
