Bodhi Tower

The Ta'er Temple Square stands in a neat and beautiful line of eight Rulai Pagodas, to praise the eight great achievements of Sakyamuni's life. Built in 1776, the Bodhi Pagoda commemorates Sakyamuni's practice. There are 964 volumes of various scriptures in Bodhita, of which Ganjul and Danjul have 216 volumes, Zongkaba Master's 86 volumes, Polomida 192 volumes, Sanmodi Sutra, Xianja Sutra, 8,000 Songs, a total of 48 sets, 10 volumes of the Mother Sutra and the Relief Sutra, 500 volumes of 100,000 Buddhas, 82 bronze Buddha statues of various types, 40 Tangka, etc. The Buddha in the center of Bodhi Tower is a pharmacist Buddha. The Buddha is a symbol of the bodies, mouths and meanings of Buddhas. The shape of the Buddha is formed by five rounds of earth, water, fire, wind and air. After the light is installed in the tower, it can be used for worship and the tower body to express the color and sadness of Buddha, and it also symbolizes three circles: the tower bottle represents the desire boundary, the tower neck represents the color boundary, the colorless boundary on the top table and the empty, and the 13th step represents the 13 places. The upper sun and moonlight indicate the light of Buddha.
